We usually take a quick 5 to 10 mins break after every 1 to 1.5 HR of riding (depending on road conditions). We keep protein bars, water, fruits with us and we usually don't stop for major break before we reach our destination.
Meteor is a decent bike it has good torque however I have done end to end modifications to make it more comfortable. Check out my modification video. All in all it is a good bike on the highway and easy to maintain. A test ride will solve your doubts.
