All these families need counseling. It's not easy to lose loved ones and especially children who haven't even had the opportunity to live their lives. Thanks for these documentaries.

The more I look at this, the more emotional I get. My God!! Why do these wicked people feel they can take the lives of our children? Robbed them of their innocence, robbed them of their youth and robbed them of their lives!

Rest in peace Santoya... your mom's story doesn't sounds credible. I think she was taking hand out from the abuser/ murderer. And how dare the alleged criminal father refer to the victim's family as "dem people deh"... so many devils use going to church as a cover up. But God sees all evils and he will deal with all evildoers accordingly. Parents make provisions for your children, be vigilant, be a parent and stop being naive.

Having now watched parts 1 and 2 of this presentation, these wanton abuses are seemingly centered south on the socioeconomic scale of Jamaica.
Is this why successive governments have not seen it a priority to budget for and provide the necessary authorities with the required funding and resources to fix this problem? I wonder.

The reason why most sexual crimes go unreported is because of the parents.
#1) parents are too rough with their kids
#2) parents disbelief the child when the child tells them that they are being molested.
    The child suffers in silence.
Because the Rapist tells the child, "if you talk, you die" and even if that child tells a parent, the response most often will be "you are telling a lie"
So parents are the reason why children are very afraid to speak about any thing that is affecting them

Why are so many Jamaican children being made to bear this terrible cross????!!!! One child dead is already too big a number.
Isn't it a key responsibility of government legislators to fast track legislation to PROTECT these children????!!!!
Only fancy talk when Jamaican politicians' are interviewed and nothing else.
