    Hello. I’m back
    Thank you so much I’m back riding PERFECT.
    I have an update 😂😂
    Not that you wanna take advice from me 😂
    I installed a 7 plate clutch
    The original was 6 plates
    I added a stunt clutch handle
    And tightened my chain a little bit.
    Runs better than it ever ran.
    I came to find that Brozz chain slack isn’t like Honda Yamaha or other brands.
    I had a bike mechanic ride it and set adjust my carb
    I had no issues yesterday riding it.
    Thanks again
    And I hope you’re getting well

      That's what I like to hear! Glad your back up and riding! So the 7 plates fit?!? Yeah I still have the stock clutch lever, surprised it lasted this long! Also the chains adjusts differently than the bigger names. I'm usually messing with my chain every other ride anyways. Main check list before riding!*Chain tension, spoke tension, brake function, clutch and throttle cable check, wobble both front and back tires and always keep an eye on the sprocket studs! I've learned the hard way with the sprocket studs and also my back bearing blew out on the trail. So that's why I like to check the bearings before every ride lol. Sorry rambling! Anyways safe riding out there and have fun!! Ps. Going through physical therapy, 💪 before surgery. I should be back out there before the snow takes over. If not next season for me. Thanks for the well wishes!

    Any ideas on why a clutch won't engage? Bought the cg250 brand new for a project, but the clutch never worked out of the box. Cable is hooked up to the lift lever on the crankcase fine, Engine starts and runs fine, but when you pull the lever, it doesnt do anything. If you put it in gear, the bike just jumps forward and stalls becuase the clutch won't engage. I've pulled it apart and disassembled the clutch basket to make sure everything is freed up, but it still won't work.

      Hmmm maybe the release mechanism in your clutch arm isn't connecting to the clutch push rod. Try taking the case off and inspect behind to see if anything is missing or broken near your clutch actuator. Then try to manually push the push rod in to see if it's just not going in. Other than that I would have to know a little more to help diagnose. Seems odd being that it's basically brand new like you stated. When you pull the clutch does it at least move the actuator? My main concern would be that it's not properly installed when the case is put back on. You gotta give the arm a little wiggle so it sets itself in the right place. Hopefully some of this helps and let me know any updates please.

    • @CheapAngler
      @CheapAngler 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@irishryder2470 yeah. Everything on the crankcase works, but the clutch itself doesn't do anything. It's like it's under too much tension or there's too much friction in the plates. If the springs and bolts are installed, it won't spin at all. And the way it's made, the crankcase won't fit back together unless the springs are compressed all the way, and the pushrod fits properly into the lever shaft. Nothing happens when I try to push the rod into the clutch. It's supposed to compress more when pushed in, right? And then relax when it's released, so the plates can spin? It doesn't do any of that.

    I have nearly the same bike. Just got it. This morning I installed the heavy duty springs only like you showed. I did not install the new clutch. My problem is it appears the clutch is dragging. I can squeeze the clutch in and the bike will stop, but when I go into gears, I can feel the clutch is not fully Letting go. Do you think I should take that plate off again and put in new clutch pads?

    • @irishryder2470
      @irishryder2470  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It could be the adjustment of your clutch wire. It may be too tight not allowing the clutch to fully disengage and engage.

      You may not have lined up the clutch lifter rod when you put the case back on. Did you put tension on the clutch arm when you put the case back on? Also make sure you connected your clutch line at the engine mount area if you didn't.

      If you follow any groups on Facebook there's a couple groups on there,Chonda Riders,BashanBrozz250,etc. These groups have all the info needed for parts and upgrades. As far as something like that you can find all these parts on eBay and Amazon. Just have to cross reference with the groups search bar to find the right part. With Chinese bikes you either get antsy and buy without research and find out if it fits or works. That's my experience with most parts. I would try to research as much as possible before ordering anything. Hope that helps buddy.

    Hi Irish,
    I have a Lifan KPX 250, it take most the same parts. I recently purchased a top rod from CSC for the bike to go into the seperating axel. However the Clutch Top Rod appears to be too long by a few cms and will not allow for me to close the clutch cover completely. I am wondering if possible would I need a top rod axel replacement for this to fit? Also would it be possible to pay maybe for virtual consulting? I would love any advise I could have on repairing the bike and it seems like most mechanics here in GA will not work on as they say "Chinese" bikes?

    • @irishryder2470
      @irishryder2470  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Are you talking about the clutch arm actuator? It's not allowing for the clearance because it's too long? I'm not a mechanic by any means but I am very handy. I can watch something and teach myself how to do just about wtv. For any type of assistance I would have to see pictures as I'm not up to par with the part names. Did you perform the upgrade to your springs? Or just needed to replace the part you named. I haven't seen much on the engine in the kpx. Definitely a nice bike that I wanted when it first came out.

      When your reinstalling the clutch cover you have to make sure you have the clutch arm bent in a little. It will take a little wiggling to get it in place. You most likely misaligned that part. I always check mine before I bolt it back up. Wish I was there to help it's not that hard to get right but just as easy to mess up.

    • @irishryder2470
      @irishryder2470  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ShankMistaMusic I would say you want it around 1o clock if your facing the bike from the side. You can wiggle it as you put it on and you will feel it slip by as you put your side case back on. I would extend it further in as you put it in and slowly let it out as you slide the case back on. You will feel it fit in it's spot and then the case should be easier to slide on. Just don't let it go past that 1 o clock mark or you'll miss it like previously. Look at the actuator on the back when you move the arm back and forth. This will give you an idea of what needs to hook up as you put it on. It's a little divet that pushes the little center thing that releases your clutch.
