SEE!? Diablo clearly has choices. That one being if you like your fireball to do damage or be super fire-y. Basically do you prefer your fireballs hot or spicy? If there ever was a choice, that'd be one of them.

Your videos single handily sold me and my wife on this game. I've seen it in passing on my Stream's frontpage, but I always passed it as another ARPG, but there is so much that you informed me on that just makes it even better and it's what I've been wanting in other ARPGs!

The game is absolutely bonkers mostly because it's more complex than D4 but not overwhelming like PoE. Also every build is viable and it by itself allows you to not follow any guides and instead make your own build and just have a good time with it (sic!)

Merchant guild will have a stuff called "guild's favor". Which actually allows you to use that.
Also, you can't re-sell items, thus scalpers are already dead on this one.
That is actually a major concern for me too, Just didnt know enough about the system to mention that. Thanks for letting me know because I hate scalpers... But there may still be a problem with bots and gold selling... but i cant think of any open trade game that has 100% solved this problem yet.

@@ghekor you can't trade gold though it's only items(ofc there will be rmt bots selling items people want)
@MoistYoghurt Well, I'm pretty sure they mentionned face to face trading, so having a RMT service that buys your white wand for 50M gold sounds possible.
You also don't need ranks too sell on the bazaar only to buy. If you want to take the item off the bazaar you will get half the favor cost back. If you switch faction on a character you keep your ranks with that faction but you will loose all favor currency. The best option is really to choose what faction you want each character to be part of

Honestly i finally figured out whats really wrong with diablo. When i played diablo i wanted to play a lighning build mage but yeah that wasn't fun at all and got even nerfed. In Last Epoch i can play whatever build i want and it will not fuck me up as wanting to play a build i imagined for Diablo that does absolutely couse me ptsd with how many times i died. You NEED to play the way the DEVs want you in Diablo 4, in LE you play however the fuck you want and it will probably work couse devs give you tons of stuff to change your skills and bnuild just for FUN.
I absolutely enjoyed your D4 enthusiasts will hate Last Epoch video, but now I would prefer to watch your "pure" Last Epoch guides. This game looks amazing - I liked to play D4, however, I feel this game is going to be so much more fun. Look forward to your next video on Last Epoch.

As someone who has never played Diablo 4 retail but knows based on the beta that it's the best game ever made, I appreciate you really dumbing it down for me. Sometimes it's hard for me to even hear my own thoughts over my boisterous mouth-breathing, so I do need that extra help in simplifying things like how to choose to spend skill points instead of following a linear path, or how to not pick up every single thing that drops. I did have one question though - what is "fun"? Is it a base stat in the game or a meta term I need to learn? When you say "have fun", does that mean optimize it? How do I do that?

It's not but I found title too offensive to recommend someone. I ENJOY D4, LE, PoE and other games, when I see video calling me 'fanatic' for a game it is a huge no of prejudice from the start. Even if video is actually decent.
Thank god I can tell my friend about the loot filter so they only see yellows! of course I don't have to worry about this as i'm sticking with Diablo 4. Thanks for the vid

Big heads up on the faction you will be able to switch freely between them however you need to be naked when doing it. So your free to test out any faction u like before choosing, you can easily get some starter gear after shifting running a lower map or just vendor trade with some gold. So dont sweat the factions to much LE gotchu
I have already finished Last Epoch in Early Access. Could you give Last Epoch players like myself a starter guide for Diablo 4? I have far too much money right now, since EHG won't let me buy a horse for $70, so I figured I might give D4 a shot.

Imagine actually having options and freedom with your build, so needlessly complicated.
Having to play the campaign is major drawback. I played it in the beta, there's nothing new. I could not care less.
The fact they locked skill points behind sidequests .. makes them no longer sidequests -.-
The fact they want to expand on the story with addons .. who cares? Who plays an ARPG for the story? It's always cringe when the D4 devs start talking about generic bad boy doing generic bad boy stuff and you have to team up with generic good boy to stop him.
damn, I suddenly forgot my Battlenet password... will probably have to try this game out until I remember it, although the price tag... what to do with the leftover 35€, confusing and complicated
your first concern is unwarranted. 1.0 comes with full offline mode. No server issue can impact it. Just select the option to launch full offline on steam
I think offline will be kept separately now though. So if the server goes down you'll need a new char, not the one you started online.
Well yeah, offline characters can't switch to online and vice versa. Whats the issue?
@JoseBurle91 so it's still going to be bothersome for people that want to experience the merchant guild which is a primary focus of this update.
So even though it's not as bad if the servers are down, there is still a valid concern of it.
@@QualquerCoisaAnonima Issue is if you are somewhat competitive you want to try ladder in arena eventually and I would never take anyones bragging from offline seriously, because you can tinker with the files...and you can not try Merchant's Guild for the trade, so a ton of downsides imo...online all the way tbh

The CEO of EHG uses only a controller to play. So you can rest assured controller will only continue to get better and better.

Not a fan of D4. That game bored me to deth just by watching other play. This game look almost like Grim Dawn where you slay endless enemies without a happy ending 😅
Let's be honest, you can get your mastery inside a couple hours. My wife and I duoed to 16 last week (first ever characters) and were surprised that we had already finished the tutorial effectively and could select our masteries. Restarting really wouldn't be that onerous. I suspect i will have 15+ characters in no time with my rampant alt-o-holism!
My Item Faction strat : Starting with a 1 button Spinner build, get Auctions to buy Stash tabs with gold.
Then make my main character on the Prophecies faction!
ULTIMATE TIP! Don't play D4 and don't compare and remember you do not need to play with your wallet

The most important feature i am interested in is...gameplay and combat animations/feel .. i really do not care about any other feature, as they are always almost the same in all ARPGs only with a few changes here and there.. they say they updated all animations and graphics for 1.0.. Let's see how they delivered on this, since the earlier patches had very poor combat animations and an overall "floaty" feel (as they call it)
If blizzard does only one thing right, it's the awesome gameplay feel and professtional animations/vfx

I'm planning on waiting a week or so before booting up the game, mostly because I only recently heard about Last Epoch and I'm in the middle of playing another game at the moment. The other reason is because I have some experience with launch day issues.

Don't use meta build for your first time. Don't! Its soooooo rewarding finding broken builds yourself. Probably not the best because min maxing is math but broken enough to smash everything.

Nah man, the game looks too colorful and vibrant, I like my game dark and broody like Diablo Thr...I mean Four, I like it dark like Diablo 4
And to think, we get all this content for only $35, and Devs that developed a game they are passionate about vs "Just get it good enough for release" or "I don't even like this game that I'm working on, but whatever, just gotta get it done and out of my hair."

Hey Diablo 4 fans here's a game that plays exactly like Diablo 4 so here's what you want to do. When you see loot you pick it up. When you have a skill you put a point in that skill to make a build. Find gear that's suited for your class so you can kill minions in a dungeon just like Diablo 4. When you get to the end game make sure you've got powerful enough gear to kill bosses like Diablo 4.
As a Diablo 4 expert, all of this is just content bloat. I'll be sticking to my nightmare dungeons thanks!
Even after graphics rework the running animation still looks like a low budget mobile game. And yes I own LE and will be playing on launch, but lets keep it real.
You can't use most barbarian play styles.
Honestly I really tried to get leap quake to work but in end game it's not very good, everyone says go druid and his leap isn't even a leap , just slams the ground with his fists.
The skill tree maybe more complex ( not really for leap) but the gear is very boring, for example in Diablo 4 there's a legendary that resets leaps cool down whenever you kick or use stomp, there's the ring where when you hit three or more enemies with leap you can keep using it and there's the leap creates an earthquake. The only piece of gear in last epoch that even remotely synergies with leap is a melee item that gives leap an earthquake and that's really cool but that's it, really want to love last epoch and I hope they give some attention to the leap play style. And add more gear that does interesting abilities. Oh shaman is still laughably weak.

last epoch is also basicly out since years available in early access.
i feel its just "fashion" to bash d4 but from a cinematic view as a casual player i think d4 is at the top and hard to beat without 200million+ budget.
this game will be much better for hardcore players and people investing alot of time in it, but as a casual bob who only plays the campaign and then goes to the next game... d4 is unreached and i doubt this will.

We should just be able to trade, sell or drop anything to anybody in games with loot never understood y they made it o important to not be able to help people out.. Gearbox doesn't GAF way we do with our loot its amazing and wish more games did that. I just want video games to go back to being video games and not forcing people to play how they want us too.

My favorite part of the Diablo series was always the story. To me, great lore can compensate for weak gameplay. I sure hope LE has at least a serviceable story.

For having playing this game already , doing the long chapters/story over on every char , in my own opinion , is a pain. And they'll add more chapters to this already too long story .... damn. Other than that , the game is great , lots of different options and things to do.
I've already bought and refunded this game twice because I wasn't sure if I wanted to play it lmao but your videos convinced me to try it out and tbh I can't wait to start blasting

Diablo 4 players are forced to go and play Last Epoch, since battlenet stuff ups and unable to login to D4 😂
