    Michael, I know our attention span as human beings is short, however sit downs like this have to go longer. Thanks again to both! Takes two to tango and the chemistry was apparent.

    I've come back to this sit down a few times. It lacks superficiality. Anthony is a great man and you can tell how similar him and Michael's experiences were. Two boys of circumstances outside of their control who have grown to become good men and turned their lives around. Tremendous

    My heart goes out to Mr Ruggiano, especially when he spoke about being torn between cooperating and keeping the oath.
    Brought a tear to my eye.
    Great advice on this show for the young people. I grew up on the street and was heading towards that bottomless pit back in the 70's (I'm 64) it was only through sheer luck and circumstance that I was able to get away. I had an accident and injured myself which required months of convalescing. Basically the crew I was hanging out with forgot about me. When I recovered I got a full time job and also got into music and acting. Had I not had that accident, I don't know if I would be here typing this comment right now. Thank you Michael Franzese for Sharing these stories and your life with us. Although I sometimes disagree with you, I always find myself coming back to listen to what you have to say. Looking forward to the next sit down.

    • @tonyvalentine5968
      @tonyvalentine5968 2 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      @@antoniom.1321 With all due respect to your comment, how do you know I'm not a murderer? I had a rough past and I was able to lift myself out of it. I never hid my past either. If it hadn't been for the compassion, empathy and kindness of good people I probably would have gone back to that life. People do change. But only if given a chance. Isn't that what rehabilitation is about? I also know there are some people who will never change and are evil and need to be put away forever. But for those who sincerely want to change and can make a difference for our youth of the future, we must put aside our judgements and criticisms and give a helping hand. Otherwise we're just going around in a vicious circle.

    I really enjoyed listening to this one, talking about the experiences of your fathers.
    My own dad was sort of in this life, a boxer who worked as a bouncer/enforcer for a Jewish gangster in my country, a while before I was born I can add, and he had left to run his own businesses by then. (worked for Abe Saffron). My dad was always difficult to understand, paranoid, and obviously had the scars from that type of life he had been part of. He was different to fathers of my friends. These videos are helping to contextualise that.
    It particularly resonated the "he didn't know any better" comment from Anthony. I am the only one of my dad's 5 children with my mum who doesn't blame him for anything and everything.

    M÷F this was a great interview I love these stories I'm so excited about the whole mob thing your show is on point its hard for me to watch because I work a 3rd. Shift on the regular but I'm always playing catch-up bless you your family and all your viewers 💯☝️💯.....one more thing you have to straighten Anthony out he's got to know not to cut somebody off when they're speaking with all due respect every time you were getting into a little story of yours he would cut you right off that's not costa Nostra

    What do you mean you've had this channel "a little over a year now " it's almost two years, you started your channel like 6 months before Gravano 🐁 did. I was following your videos before you started the channel, you went to Mike Tyson podcast and then shortly after that proved to be successful you started your channel and I've been following your channel from the onset

    What a great sit-down this is so good for young people involved in wayward ways to look at two old Wise guys that at one point in time were very serious players and to see the emotion especially the raw emotion from Anthony when he speaks about his father, you guys are people too and we only have one life and I come in both these men for making it through and being able to spread the word.

    This video also inspired me to reach out to the family of a good friend of mine who's doing 10 years right now. It was a very big player in certain cirlces, , he made a lot of people a lot of money and I often wonder how his wife and two young girls are making out. The feds took every single thing that he had as part of his plea deal and you guys are right soon as somebody goes away everybody abandons them.

    Excuse me Mr. Michael francese let me tell you something since I've been watching your show. I love Sammy. I love you. I love both of you. You know I've always been enamored with the life. I believe overtime my name was changed but that's my own belief and lol but I got clean. I got silver to you before and I was on drugs wanting me to help me. I think I broke something stupid. I can't remember but you're the reason man. A big big part of wanting to better myself and better be better. Have better people around me you know. And clean this over now 5 years but I was back on it again for another 2 years and watching your show I got clean again. I've been cleaning this over for 3 months. My mom probation for the second time. Third time maybe I can't remember. You know how it goes so I hope I don't mess up and go to jail but I would like to tell my story one day. I'm from Florida Beverly hills. If you look it up it's a box. It's a hood what it is and how is your gangster's gangster and that area and no people that'll talk shit and testify blah blah blah but when I come come down to running shit I had a crew. We did shit we made you happen. We move shit. We made money I had over $50,000 in the bank and I finessed a company. You know allegedly but you know I would like to tell my story. My name is Brian goater

    You guys definitely deserve a good life and a happy life I know some bad was done or whatever but you know damn well y’all are the rarest of exceptions because there’s only a handful of people with your caliber left in the world and you are obviously here for some reason and it’s got to be for a positive reason and I hope you guys prosper with your second chances in life and I thank you both for your honesty
