Fun tip, fire your missiles when the target is around 15-14km from you. The missile will hit them when they reach the 9.5-9km mark. This will confuse most planes. Look on the radar display to see the range without locking the target, then fire the missile unguided and lock around 10km. It wont trigger the MAWs or RWR giving as nice surprise. Doesnt work that much against non braindead CAS players.
Any decent RWR will still produce launch warning based off missile flight commands, you don't need radar lock. MAW also will start yapping when missile gets close.
@@kazuviking Seems working fine to me, OSA did launch missile at my heli, first RWR got noisy, MAW followed shortly after. Keep in mind MAW like RWR has blind spots.
It's not about russian bias, but about making spaa as whole class overpowered and under-BRd, so that every beerman can take it at any time and do kills (words of developer)

Why do planes fly like targets in a shooting gallery? And then they whine that they are shot down, because when you go out to the enemy in a tank and you are killed, you understand that you have set yourself up. So here, the planes fly directly at the SAM.

@ I meant by, Italy needs a new spaa near the 12.0 br to be above the OTOMATIC France needs an spaa near 7.3 U.S needs a new spaa to branch the gap in between 5.3 to 7.0 I understand these nations got the Osa but still, 1 spaa for 3 tech trees probably won’t cut it, maybe we’ll get more soon, some large gaps are still left out, and even skipping a whole rank on some other nations spaa

While some other systems are in development they are however few in number, and there's not even concept art of them, at least not that I've found yet. NATO usually uses stationary and or multi-complex system Air Defence systems such as the Patriot, the Aspide, or the Crotale. Gaijin doesn't seem interested in touching these right now even though some can be used independently, but that would also open up several Russian vehicles to the game with much greater ranges than the Pantsir. The most advanced SPAA I know that Italy has is the Stryker M-SHORAD Gemany has the Skyranger 30 and 35, which aren't all that different from the OTOMATIC. And it does have IRS-T systems but I don't know if they're mobile, and if they can operate independently or not. And I presently don't know of any SPAA that could fill the gaps between 5.3 to 7.0 France could bring in the VAB 6x6 VDAA TA20, but all it has is 2 20mm guns for low flying targets, that may be enough for 7.3 but I wish I had a better suggestion than that.
