F-117 in ARB feels like an act of active trolling/griefing because of it's paiload. Also even though the plane is cool and looks great, it's not so stealthy as we thought :(
Room temperature IQ comments saying that the bomb bay ruins your stealth when that is not even modeled in game its just not very good stealth and any semi modern, non 60s radar has no issues tracking it edit: as pointed out its also the fact that the stealth it has only really works head on, the big flat belly of it will not be stealth at all, no matter the state of the doors IR tracking from the ground also does not care about the "stealth" since its still hotter than the air aroundit
I swear these people in the comments don't actually play this game... Most of the AA vehicles at 10.0 have IR (heat-seeking) missiles. It doesn't matter how stealth your aircraft is, if you fly within 6km of them they can and will lock you with their IR missiles.

Yet somehow every Strela, Shilka or Ozelot lock it easier than most of the planes with Ozelot locking it at 6km (it often struggles to lock things at 3-4km). Theres no doubt that Gaijin not only fucked up the stealth capabilities but also the heat signature of F-117

War thunder player hate it cause they find it trash as it has no guns, no missiles, and only can carry two bombs, hard to control, etc, it’s also partially their own fault because it’s not meant for low altitude bombing runs, in general staying at low altitudes, it’s a high altitude strategic bomber but they treat it like it’s a fighter jet when it’s not, they also mistake “stealth” for invisibility, in general it was an aircraft made in the 80’s not made for modern combat, don’t know why Gajin thought it was a good idea to bring that aircraft as the “first every stealth aircraft to WT” smh

This is actually historically accurate, an f117 got shot down due to stealth loss from bomb bay
