Love the blades all year! Some of my favorites:Venom turtleneck, Nichols shattered glass, Dobyns, Pepper, WarEagle and recently the Zman Luke Claussen finesse. I pulse-kick-snap-juke almost all the time. Wanted to ask why you position the twister tail downward??
I'm not that good at fishing spinnerbaits, but then again, I don't try them that often. But like other baits, the suggestion is to only take out that bait and learn to fish with it once...Like only take out spinnerbaits, and fish with them to learn the nuances of it. Best reel ratio? Near 6.4 or 6.8 to 1?
Either of those would be just fine. I’d probably choose the 6.8 as I find it easier to slow down than speed up. Now a days I pick it up at certain times but to learn it might be a good idea to commit to it.

I’ve always put it down so there is no interference from the blades. Just my preference.

This is a great time of year to learn.
