Finally I can be counted amongst other drivers who passed their practical driving test by watching these videos. Passed on my first attempt 🙌 🙏. Cheers 🍻 Drive London
I have taken many lessons over the years and not done my theory for some reason. At age 60 my kids think I don't need to drive. But I want to meet the goal I never completed. Your videos are so encouraging! I always forget my footwork, and you help me by showing his feet on the pedals 🚙 😁 I am truely encouraged to do it! Thank you! 👍🏾
I passed first time today and impressed my examiner with just 1 minor fault ( reverse park, was not really in the centre) otherwise "it was a very good driving" the examiner said to me. Thanks to your amazing videos and your effort in making them!!! You are amazing how well you explain everything! I feel very happy achieving this milestone ( having 2 little kids around) You make students being successful and happy! God Bless you !!!
6:52 A white car demonstrates why it is not a good idea to attempt a U-turn at a small mini-roundabout and ends up stuck halfway round forcing the driver to choose between reversing a bit on the roundabout or bouncing over the pavement.
If you are ready to move off and you notice a vehicle approaching from the rear to pass you, do not indicate off if you intend on waiting for them to pass. The effect of this can cause the approaching vehicle to slow down or stop to let you pull away or to swerve around you. Such consequences will likely fail the driving test
I passed my driving test yesterday with 4 minors. While practicing with my instructor, I had been watching these videos which widened my knowledge. Rohith you’re really brilliant!!!. If someone has their test soon, don’t be nervous, try to watch all these videos, it will build up your confidence. Don’t panic during the test, try to exchange your thoughts with the examiner when you do minor errors. It can happen to any one when they are nervous. Keep positive every time.Thank you so much Rohith!! I really appreciate your support.
Just failed my test, 0 Minors, 1 Serious, examiner said I was doing almost 50 in a 40, which I wasn't because I was checking my speed the entire time, got back to the test centre early (so I knew something was wrong), he told my instructor I was doing almost 50 in a 40 and that I was still accelerating, just lies, feel so angry. UPDATE: Managed to get a last minute cancellation, PASSED second try with 1 minor, and that was just before leaving the test centre; examiner said he didnt see me check my right mirror before indicating out of the test centre. No faults throughout the whole test though, so was pleased about that; examiner said it was a very nice drive. Only downside to passing was that my insurance increased by about 60%. I wouldn't have known but the examiner was good enough to tell me to make sure to inform my insurance that i've passed otherwise i'll be driving with no insurance.
Aww well done for passing 🎉🎉🎉 I swear you don't see much pass mock tests. Just shows you that experience on the road is very important, it builds up your confidence, and awareness.. But the question I have is this.. Am I watching drive London for the super HOT instructor or to learn? 🤔😂😂😊
@@kirstiea8250 thanks, I was dead nervous but if you’ve practiced enough you should be good. That’d be my advice imo. I just got lucky that my nerves didn’t make me do any silly mistakes but it’s genuinely down to my instructor!
I have my test next month. And I am doing it in my own car without an instructor at the moment as it’s so busy due to corona virus so watching these really helps. Hopefully I pass… I’d like to find someone to do a lock tho before hand😢scared of failing!
30:30 When you stop on the right everybody concentrates on pulling up straight with the car straight in the road parallel to the kerb with your wheels dead straight about six inches wide of the kerb. In fact everything is is straight, parallel and easy. When you move back good observation of incoming traffic and other road users are required front and rear. Why do people then think they need to steer left. right, left right left etc. in greater and greater amounts. It makes no sense but many drivers seem to do this instead of simply driving back in a straight line which they have put a lot of effort into setting up?.
@@ellielewis8706 If you set up everything dead straight on a straight section of road you should be able to go straight back on your pre-prepared straight steering lock. Observation will be 90% on any incoming and surrounding hazards and10% on monitoring steering which will be nil to minimal adjustments. It is better to judge steering with short glances 2 to 3 seconds apart than stare continuously at the kerb movement across windows as the latter takes all your observation off incoming hazards which is essentially where the serious errors are going to be awarded bringing in a test fail.
@@ellielewis8706 Final pedantic point. When you judge the kerb against your window for movement. Always assess this against the bottom of the kerb i.e. where the kerb and tarmac meet. This is because if you assess using the top of the kerb where the pavement is, drop kerbs will cause movement not related to your direction of travel but height variation of pavement
Great video, I was sure that the roundabout where he drifted lanes would be a serious, but then listened to your explanation 🙂 Only thing that was slightly annoying is that he doesn’t seem to like any critic at all!
