  • Mock Driving Test - UK Practical Driving Test #drivingtest #drivingtips #ukdrivingtest
    Matthew came to DriveLondon, wanting to get test ready and do his test with us. Unfortunately we couldn't do his test as I had another test at the same time. But we talked about him doing his test in his parents car which he had been also practicing in. We did some lessons and then a mock, we then worked on those faults and this was his last mock test with us. Let's see how he does.
    In the video the text colour would mean:
    GREEN: GOOD POINTS
    AMBER: ADVISORY AND MINOR FAULTS
    RED: SERIOUS AND DANGEROUS FAULTS
    These videos are designed to show you mistakes and how to fix them.
    Isleworth driving centre test route.

    I passed my driving test yesterday with 4 minors. While practicing with my instructor, I had been watching these videos which widened my knowledge. Rohith you’re really brilliant!!!. If someone has their test soon, don’t be nervous, try to watch all these videos, it will build up your confidence. Don’t panic during the test, try to exchange your thoughts with the examiner when you do minor errors. It can happen to any one when they are nervous. Keep positive every time.Thank you so much Rohith!! I really appreciate your support.

    Unrelatable. I wonder if I should quit. Years and hundreds wasted. Almost in 30s. Still no license never mind a vehicle. I envy the successful young ones who easily pass & get their freedom as young as 17. Feeling seriously depressed but nobody cares so I will just stop complaining.

    When I did my test (taught by an ex-military instructor) you applied the handbrake at a stop and go out of gear…. Is that no longer the case? That would’ve been a fail holding down the clutch and foot brake whilst stationary. At least in 2000 that was the case.

      Just avoid it altogether.

    • @MSM4U2POM
      @MSM4U2POM ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, provided you keep control of the vehicle. It is a myth that crossing hands on the wheel is an automatic fail, because that has never been the case. When I was an instructor, plenty of my colleagues were unaware of this, so it is hardly surprising that this one is so firmly embedded in driving test folklore. Having said that, I firmly believe that push-pull is the better technique, because both hands are always in the ideal position to respond to changing needs, and much less effort is required for large changes of direction than any other method. At the end of the day, just use which suits you, because let's face it, that's the way you're going to do it once you've passed.
