So amazing that you have given us a tour of this super expensive room. I doubt that I have the surplus cash to splurge but it's thanks to you that we get to experience the view and the luxury of the room and the service
Even if you don't stay at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel, it's still worth a visit to the property. There's shopping and food courts downstairs, plus bars on the roof. You can also watch the nightly laser light-show from the Promenade fronting onto the Marina Bay harbour.
Dear Ghib, thank you for this review of Marina Bay Sands Hotel! I was on doing the research myself but what you've done is help me to gain some more info on the property. Thank you Ghib.
@@thewalk7816it not about money, it about not wanting to deal with bills. during NDP, we always invite foreign VIP to attend, it not that nice to expect to have these thing listed in the bill to be reimburse by the government. it rather embarrassing, because we get to know what they use and order. I stayed at Marina Bay sand before couples yrs back but not in their suite. Their room is already very nice & comfy. Infinity pool is amazing & cold as so high up. Wish I could go there again in my life. 😅
No lah. In Singapore Evian is an affordable good water. LKY drinks it. My mum regularly only drinks that bottled water daily. Not expensive lah. Is good water.
The last time I stayed in MBS and I remember fondly that for the price you paid it does not match the quality of the room. Dated interior and that old boxy LCD tv But in recent times after the upgrading it pretty much match the price point and perhaps I should return for a stay again soon
I don't know why, I never impressed on this type of hotel room lol May be coz I feel so lazy to be in a room. The most expensive hotel I lived in overseas was 1k per night but I feel its not worth it since I am out of the room for more than a half day

Those slippers are available in the new premier rooms too, not just this suite. I’ve actually requested for extra slippers and have brought home a few sets 😅
i still prefer the older design, i don't like the sink being divided. and did you test the hot water? does it still take a LONG ASS TIME for the water to become hot? that's my main complain about sands, the water temperature is not responsive. the TV was definitely a surprise for me when I stay at sands, it really commanded a presence in the room. it you push it, u will see it actually can be tilted to your liking.
There is no definitive design element for the room interiors. It's a very generic kind of contemporary and rather disappointing cos it has no personality and easily forgettable.
Big no for the butler.... Too pretentious and can sense that she's not truly serving with her heart. The thing with people working in luxury environment is that overtime they become disconnected from the real world and start to think they're above or better than others.
Aya nothing surprisingly wow about it. Not that expensive for couple n families. Ok lah. Why a need of by invitation, when it is not unaffordable by many locals since 1 in 5 Singaporeans is a millionaire. Is only whether it is worthy of that price to stay a week there. After a week it can be extremely boring by then. Didn't see any surprises wow about it leh. For locals must as well use that same amount to go for a short overseas trip for more fun.😊

*As a Singaporean I won’t be going for this MARINA BAY SANDS suite it’s too expensive. I can go to Kuala Lumpur or JOHOR bahru Malaysia for this kind of suite accommodation which is more cheaper. It’s just for a million dollar view that’s all. For a foreigner like you maybe you’re impressed. As for me it’s a no for the price I’m paying*

What an eye opener! Thanks for showing us the exclusive VIP room! 😍
Glad you have the chances to stay at MBS, my former workplace & 'home' of 8 years! 🙏💙
What work did you do there previously?
Thanks for this amazing video as I have been wanting to try beef wellington

Finally they start to renovate their room. Hopefully all based room will be fully renovated too
I stayed there twice (not the suite) 😊 before and after the renovation. The service is excellent and consistent - very impressive.

You should get MBS to pay you for this video. You'll definitely have more views than their usual advertising agency.... 😂
