    Create animated videos by tracing using EbSynth, a rotoscoping tool that makes tracing easier and less time-consuming. It's a bit tricky in the beginning but once you get the hang of it, it's real fun! What will you create?

    Hi what tool are you using at 6:30 point? Where are you uploading everything to at the 6:30 mark? I am a beginner so I Want to use filmora. Can I do that? DID you only use eynth?

      Hi, Tim. I'm using Adobe Premiere Pro. When you import, you'll see an option that says "Image Sequence." Any editing program should have something similar, but if Filmora doesn't have that option, all you need to do is import every image that was created with EbSynth, and you'll have to manually add each of those images starting from #0000 to whatever number EbSynth created for you. Add it to your timeline that way. The only nuisance is that you'll have a lot of frame images in your bin, so, it may get cluttered. Having the option to have an "Image Sequence" import makes it a lot faster and easier, though. I hope that this helps. As for the last question about EbSynth. I used Adobe Photoshop to draw the linework for the frame I'm working on, and then I exported the file to a folder on my desktop. From there, I used EbSynth, like in the video, and imported that frame I did the linework. EbSynth then does all the rotoscoping for you on each of the frames so that I don't have to draw each frame by hand. EbSynth makes that easier. Thanks for watching and commenting.

      @@timhendson2550 I've never used Filmora, but if you don't see an Image Sequence check box when you import your image sequences, don't worry because you can still import your images, however, you will have to highlight all of the image frame sequences that EbSynth created. There are other free editing programs out there. I believe DaVinci Resolve is free and has a powerful system. You can also download Blender, which is totally free. It is a 3D graphics tool but it also has a movie editing function. If you need help with those, TH-cam has a whole bunch of tutorials on Blender and DaVinci Resolve that go in-depth.

    Actually, just a nitpick, but that's 104 frames (1 to 103 inclusive = 103 frames, but 0 to 103 inclusive =104 frames).

      Hi Nigel, yes, Midjourney is very simple once you get the hang of it. It's mostly using text prompts and you can let your imagination run wild. Check out my videos on how to use Midjourney. My first video explains how to sign up and the basics. There have been so much improvements through the months. Thank you for watching and commenting. If you have any questions, let me know and I'll explain the best I can.

    omg whats the point in ebsynth creating a painting video from a original video i thought it created a video from scatch

    • @museitorloseit
      @museitorloseit  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, thanks for watching and commenting. To answer your question, the point of EbSynth is to help you rotoscope easier and faster. Old Disney animations were created using this same method but by hand. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs were created with real actors and they were rotoscoped. Other movies that were rotoscoped are Heavy Metal, American Pop, and The Lord of the Rings animation from the late 1970s. If you want to generate a moving painting or AI art that moves, I would recommend checking out Gen-1 or Gen-2 through Runway's platform. I made a recent video on how to do that. Check it out. Again, EbSynth is used to make rotoscoping easier and faster for artists. It's not a generative tool that makes paintings from scratch.

      This is definitely a great tool to speed up rotoscoping. Ever since I saw the movie, "American Pop," I wanted to know how that was done. Now it's a lot easier, less time consuming, and a lot of fun. Thank you for watching and commenting. I hope you have fun rotoscoping with EbSynth.

      Hi, I don't know too much about EbSynth, but if you have questions that delve deeper, I recommend emailing or checking out the FAQ on EbSynth's website. The people who developed the program would be the best place to get help with any of your questions. This is the link to their FAQ, but they have an email as well on their Home page where you download the program. ebsynth.com/faq.html
      Good luck with your projects!

    When using ebsynth, can the newly created image work with different head sizes and different eye positions?

    • @museitorloseit
      @museitorloseit  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, thank you for watching and commenting. You can resize and manipulate your images as you wish, but you have to retouch each frame you want to resize, and then ebsynth follows that new manipulation you made. If you want to make the head look like a balloon with googly eyes, you can do that.

    If the stylized looks close enough to the actual key frame is that good enough? I am using one of those ai that turn photos in cartoon. Will that work? It might take me a while to learn photoshop?

    • @museitorloseit
      @museitorloseit  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Once you create the first frame the way you like it, EbSynth should apply it to every frame. There may be some hiccups along the way, and you'll just need to fix whichever frame had the hiccup. Then just continue from that frame.

    how do i find out if Filmore does image sequence? is there a free alternative simple for beginners. how do i find a stylized frame that is free and looks like the animation from Shrek or toy story how the humans look like?

    • @museitorloseit
      @museitorloseit  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I haven't used Filmora, but check TH-cam tutorials on Filmora or Google information about image sequences. But don't worry if Filmora doesn't have a check box for Image Sequencing. You'll just need to highlight all of the images that EbSynth created and then you'll need to manually add each frame in the timeline. It's going to be time-consuming, but worth it. As for the last question about Shrek or Toy Story, maybe try using AI tools such as Midjourney, Open AI, etc. to create your something similar. You can also try checking free stock images like "Pexels."

    So the whole video has to already be in a stylized frame? My video has a lot of different people and scene changes. Because what if I only styled the first 10 secs will eybsnth now to stylize the rest of the video into like a drawing. Or will it only stylize the frame I gave it. I have a 5 minute clip I want to stylize but I only have a stylized frame for the first 10 secs? Will eybsnth know to stylize the rest of my clip because it has a lot of moving parts it?

    • @museitorloseit

      EbSynth is just a tool, you're imagination can run wild. You can stop at a few seconds with a certain style, then mix it with a different style. Plus, YOU can make any type of changes during editing :)

      @@museitorloseitI have a stylized frame but it looks similar to the real life video but it is not moving. I don't know how to use Adobe or Photoshop. But I found a ai tool that turns real life photos to anime. I wanted to use that. So I wanted to know does the stylized frame have to be moving?

    • @museitorloseit
      @museitorloseit  ปีที่แล้ว

      @timhendson2550 ebsynth recognizes still frames. It's used to create rotoscoping techniques. So, whatever you do to the first frame, it will be repeated throughout every feame there after with that same style you added. It doesn't recognize a moving image, only still frames.
