Really talented trio.The violinist doubles on guitar,vocal and vocal instrumental brass impressions.The bass uses the bow which in this context is unusual.The other guitarist is extremely competent.Together they make a very versatile unit which is entertaining to all,not only a gypsy jazz audience.I would love to see them live
The songs are 1. Tschawo, 2. O Dewel bas o tschido ap o kraizo, 3. Tut hi tschi, 4. Me hum mato, 5. Dui dui, 6. His i molo. All are songs that are part of the usual repertoire of Tcha. You can hear several versions on youtube or on the CD called Romani.
Yes man!! I'm so happy you mentioned Romani :) It's such a beautifull album with families De Kouter and Limberger together! If you like this music, this is the album you need! (real traditional Sinti songs in combination with newer traditional music) And you can already hear Tcha's genius at young age :D
Hey you don't have any lyrics by any chance of these songs? :) I know Sinti isn't a written language but I asked a couple things here and there for the meaning of the songs and didn't get really far.. :) But the songs are really touching even without understanding the lyrics.. soo powerfull! cheers
