This is such a hard question... Cause what you can deem as "forgotten" isn't to others. I think one that I can think of is one of Yusei's cards: Nitro Warrior. That card had so many different effects that could make him a real threat and I don't think I ever see any kind of revision of it. One of Yusei's best outside his Stardust Dragon and Junk Warrior.
This is a fun series. Keep it up. As for your question, one monster that’s kind of forgotten is Vampire Lord. An absolute menace in GOAT but it’s nothing today
It's not forgotten, but i feel like Buster blader could have gotten a new card to go with shining sarcophagus. I mean, silent magician and swordsman, the magents,gandora,dark magician,marshmallon, and stronghold did so I don't see buster blader couldn't
I'm LOVING this series so far, seeing some of the classic E-HEROs get some well-deserved shine has been great 😁 Can't wait for that Mudballman episode 🤭 QOTD: I'll go with an answer from my favorite archetype, 'cause I feel like Darklord Marie NEVER gets mentioned anywhere. She's one of two older cards to be retconned into Darklords years after release (along with Reficule), is the ONLY Darklord Monster that isn't a Fairy (she's a Fiend despite her original name being "Fallen Angel Marie"), and her effect is just complete ass, just gaining you 200 LP every Standby Phase, but only if she's in your Graveyard. Not necessarily her fault, given the game was a VERY different beast back then, but that LP gain is so far outpaced by Condemned Darklord's, it's not even funny. Honestly not surprised no one brings her up, because she's probably the only Darklord with less synergy with her own archetype than Asmodeus.
I won't double dip and give the same response of Cyber Blader from last video. I have always felt that both Pikeru and Curran were meant to be part of a bigger archetype that for whatever reason never mainfested.
QOTV: i wouldve said something like *insert Number Monster here* or like ancient fairy dragon(shout out to it getting its own archetype/support) or Black rose Dragon, but honestly idk any cards really, so much shift in meta where so many generic monsters or generic cards get switched out with others or just being relegated to older stubborn decks/strats. hard to pinpoint one for me.
