  • Here's a review of my 2021 Kioti CK2610 HST tractor with 4010 Loader. I've got 80 hours on the tractor now so I figured it was a good time to give my first review of the tractor with what I love about it as well as a couple small complaints so far. Overall it has been great!
    Here's the link to the arm rests that I've installed:

    To avoid snags and possible damage, I'd shorten the hydraulic lines leading to the loader disconnects, installing angled fittings to them so they don't need to loop so low to the ground.

      There's a fb kioti running group. 26 goes to 35. Turn the screw until it starts to smoke out exhaust, then back it up until it stops. You're there. Least that's what they say and that does make sense. You don't want to roll coal. Burn it all.

      @@cutweldngrind get as much as you can afford or makes sense that does not require DEF. You could get away with 26hp. But 40 or 60 you'd be king. There's lots of videos on tractor choosing.

      @@cutweldngrind Depends what you want to do with the tractor. If you need to cultivate your 8 acres then 70 hp min.. If you are doing mostly brush hogging and so on then 26 hp fine. If you are planing to mulch up branches and you want to run a flail mower then maybe 30 hp. All depends on the big picture. Get the tool that matches 80 percent of what you do and then rent something for the other jobs.
      Smaller tractors can work all day long and sip fuel. You won't get that with the bigger machines. Even the large compacts (45 hp or so) will start to use a lot more fuel). Smaller tractors are also a lot cheaper and easier to maintain and store. Smaller implements are cheaper too. 45 hp would be more than you need but it would save you time because you could run a 72 inch brush hog or mower. 70 hp on 8 acres (unless you're tilling or doing other very heavy work) would be way more than you would ever need.
      Remember the old 8n Fords? I think they were around 30 hp and they did just fine. I have one of those plus some other tractors. If you're doing firewood and you want to lift those totes/cages then you will want the lift capacity of a 40ish hp tractor. All depends on your business or the chores you are doing.

    Thank you for this review. I bought this model Kioti based in part on this and some other reviews. The first time I attempted to do some ground leveling with the loader I had one of the hydraulic connectors (in the group of 4 couplers) break off. Part of the male fitting broke off clean inside the female fitting. Dealer said if I send him the part he will replace, I just ordered a new set of 4 from Amazon since no local shops had the part in stock. Popped on the new one and no issue since. I have about 30 hours on it now and it has done all that I have asked of it.

    I looked at the Kabota L2501 and the price was insane..I got the actual quote today..I thought the 23,400 was OTD..Nope it was 27,265..Thats HST, quick attach bucket, r4 tires filled with Tax and fees and insurance payments around 454 a month..A bit much I think for around the house. Think I'm gonna look at this Kioti model and Mahindra and do a price compare I was expecting the Kabota to be closer.

    I'm looking at the ck3510 but this one also seems like a great little tractor. I can probably add some options or implements with the savings. This is the 3rd video I hear rim guard, is that just a liquid to add weight.

    • @upstategearheads
      @upstategearheads  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, that is the brand name of the fluid to add to the tires. It's really just Beet Juice. According to their chart, the rear tires will hold 310 lbs each. My dealer charged $400 to add it, so it was well worth it to me

    • @charlesreed6404
      @charlesreed6404 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I bought the CK3510SE one year ago. Now 140 hours on it. I bought it due to the features, specs and comfort vs cost compared to JD and Kubota. It has turned out to be a horrible frustrating mistake. It's been back to the dealer 5 times. Was deliverd with 3 large dents on the rear fender that I eventually had to live with. The powdercoat was chipped in the areas and will rust soon. ROP pins could not be inserted without a hammer, linked pedal failed the first day of delivery, rusted fasteners, floor mat curls up in cold temps, rear tire fell off the rim and rim guard ran all over my lawn, a month later a front tire came off the rim, several leaking hyd hoses, seat safety switch failed and the dealers solution was to disengage the safety and give it back to me, tossing F26 1669 error codes, entire seat / safety was replaced ($1700), grapple control failed two different times, break pedal linkage chafing through a hyd cover, coolent leak, need a pair of vise grips to pull grill guard pins out, on and on. Garaged whenever I'm not using it and I'm constently walking around the piece of crap checking things because I have zero trust in it.

    Does your aftermarket rear light ever get in the way of filling up your tank?

    • @upstategearheads
      @upstategearheads  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nope, not at all. I use a 5 gallon VP Racing can like we use for the dirt bikes and the hose on the can makes filling really easy. The rear light bar only sticks out 3" even with the mounts, and it doesn't interfere with the top link at all either.
      If I had more garage height and kept the ROPS up, maybe I would have mounted it up higher so it had slightly more useable light, but it does a pretty good job right where it is

    • @chrisc214
      @chrisc214 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I looked at this way when i made my decision. Lots of back and forth, bucket/grapple work, etc, hydrostatic for the ease of it. If i was plowing, brush hogging fields or other tasks where i would going the same speed for a while at a time i would have bought a gear drive.

    • @upstategearheads
      @upstategearheads  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yup, same thing as Chris. I mow the lawn with it, do a bunch of loader work, and wanted my fiance to be able to use it if needed. I've used a friend's old John Deere 780 or 790 to till our motocross track and it works alright for that, but I still prefer the hydro for every use. You can even get cruise control for the hydro if needed. I would sacrifice the one or two pto horsepower for the ease of use

      @upstategearheads  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I paid $18,800 for mine with the 66" bucket. That was July 2021 so I'm sure it's gone up since then. The extra power would be nice at times, but I didn't want the extra cost, and long term, this is an old school mechanical diesel with no DPF to potentially go bad
