    I like the river running better than fishing anyway.

      Well I got to have my fishing, but I usually try to include some of the running. It's hard to not show off these beautiful rivers. Thanks for watching!

    Weather definitely has them off the bite rite now. Glad to hear it ain't just me. They're not biting over here in Santa Rosa county FL neither

      Guys at work are really complaining too. But they usually never bite when the water is on the rise. When it starts dropping I expect to tear them up.

      Congratulations, we have been really enjoying ours. We love it far more than we thought we would. At this point I can't imagine not owning one for the rest of my life. A perfect go anywhere type of boat!

    Subscribed to both now. Went sinkhole fishing today and had luck but boiled in the humidity. Kinda miss your co-host Mr. Whopper Plopper

      Sink hole fishing, now that sounds cool! Thanks for subscribing and don't worry, the star of the show will return. I have plenty of whopper plopper videos planned.

    You'll get more and more confident with each outing. They are definitely different, takes some getting used to, but once you find out their potential, it's crazy.

      Yep I am already feeling good with it. Still have plenty to learn though, it is amazing what these will go through.

    I bet with the trolling motor you can slip up on all kinds of wildlife in a tite little pla e like that

    • @TKOutdoors
      @TKOutdoors  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can, it's amazing what you see sometimes. Deer, turkey, ducks, otters ect. I don't know if you are into hunting or not, but next spring I plan on doing some floating turkey hunts out of the boat. I think it will be cool to slip down river while calling and be able to go to either bank if needed.

      Hell ya you have to stop all forward movement befor shoting but its legal have done the same thing on a buggy in the swamp

    How’s the “tiller torque” people speak of. Want to make sure it won’t be too much for my nephew to handle. Driving how you did in this video is what we would be doing, minus the current.

    • @TKOutdoors
      @TKOutdoors  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was scared to death of the tiller torque people claimed. I can honestly say it isn't bad at all, it's all in how you trim it. Now don't be expecting this to handle like a normal tiller outboard. But trimmed correctly, I can drive with two fingers.

    BOSS 37 reverse is ridiculously powerful. Throws water over the transom if you aint careful

    • @TKOutdoors
      @TKOutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mine will throw water over too if I Rev it. Still not as powerful of a reverse as a normal outdboard, but it's done everything I've asked it to.

    I heard you got pushed off the path on wacissa by a airboat and hit a rock? Or was that someone else a fellow airboater was telling me?

    • @TKOutdoors
      @TKOutdoors  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Me and another boat too. We both hit rocks but it happens. Got a small chunk taken out of my prop, but it's ok. Some of those sections of river are tight

    Forgot ask you how much thrust on the trolling motor and what size shaft? Thanks

    • @TKOutdoors
      @TKOutdoors  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      80 pound thrust, I'm unsure of the shaft length. I had the dealer put it on. I strongly recommend the 80 pound over the 70. I have heard of problems with the 70 but the 80 has great reviews.

    I went fishing up on Lake Nottely in North Georgia, July 10 - 11, and the Fishing was pathetic. I didn't get a nibble or surface disruption of any kind. My Fishing friend had some small fish play with his top water frog for half a second, and that was it, for excitement. I was expecting so much better for my New Whopper Ploppers, and was left feeling totally discouraged by my Experience, what a Bummer. At least your likewise poor fishing performance, has given me hope, that the Whopper Plopper doesn't guarantee perfect fishing every time you use one, shucks!

    • @TKOutdoors
      @TKOutdoors  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well if it makes you feel any better, this is the first time it has let me down. So that's a pretty good batting average for the ol whopper plopper. Sounds like fishing is off all across the south. Starting to read comments and hear reports from a lot of people that it's slow
