Best DJ on two turntables, saw Joe couple of times man he was and still is an amazing dj, biggest influences on my dj life...to all you young dj cats starting this is the godfather of turntablism right here
one of my biggest influences when i was starting up.wicked.never got the respect he deserved imo.he kicked cash's ass in the seminar to.anyone remember that?think it was 87.
Yup!!! Joe came in on the second generation of Mix Masters. 1984 was HennG Tony G and The Jamming Gemini. Sure miss the 1980's and my Saturday night taping AM Stereo 1580 K-DAY !
What song is at the beginning all I remember is that it was a break in a new wave song it came in like at the end of the song and if I remember rite it was called girls girls girls ? But anybody now this track ? I’ve been looking for ever lol
@fooloof I agree with that Joe wasn't the only one. I played with him at a house party before he was fully developed. I will say he is the only one that was that good with an innovative scratch who applied a creative edge to his sound. AND yeah bobcat, m walk, those guys were amazing. I use to listen on KDAY 1580. NOW on the mix none better(creative and clean) than the Jammin Gemini. Scratching was so new he never got his due. Anyway all good memories. They influenced me - I'm still spinning
I remember I had a copy of this video too back in the day...👍
🗣GOD DAMN!!😳 @ 5:30 😂😂😂. I WAS 20 YEARS OLD BAC IN 1987, WISH I COULD GO BAC AN STAY!
One of the best... Waiting for someone to upload some video of Bobcat too.
