@@marktaylor4277 I have a 650 tourer, at the moment it's more finding the spare funds and time to get it done. Had a great time last year doing some multi-day trips in the Peak Distirct, Lake District and Yorkshire Dales, but I just miss it a hell of a lot. Good luck on getting your big bike and doing the tests, if you haven't done them already!

That cracking road at 09:00 is my personal favourite road. In the whole universe! 5 mins from my home. You can see the groove in the surface: my line from riding it HUNDREDS of times. But I’ll not give away the secret, Bruce….😎🏴
I never bore of the A9 around Helmsdale, and the gorse is always stunning. One week is never enough in Scotland, but that's always a good reason to keep going back there...

Regarding Ducati wheel nut Bruce, my local bike shop couldn’t get the rear nut off with the standard equipment, they resorted to using a scaffolding pole to use as an extension bar. It was the only way to get the thing off.
The bike was a year old.
Blimey! Surprised the wheel bearings can cope with that? 👍
@@teapotoneNormal, recommended torque setting well over 100nm, they are designed that way…
Love the comradship thatbikers have, all out for a ride , banter and chater looking out for each others, those who use tin cans will never feel the freedom and man and machine in harmony , last time i had tht was serving in the army

Brilliant! I did much the same trip last September, and, believe it or not, stayed in the same two hotels 🙄. As for the eatery next to the 1st hotel, I didn't rate it at all🤔. The chips were fine but, the fish was dry under the batter, ah well. Oh yeah the bathroom thing with no shower curtain, I had a bath instead 😃, an easy option.
Got to do one of your tours someday. Looks like fun and my kind of riding. Is there more to the story about your mate's sister 😉👍
Indeed at 6 mins 25 secs that is the million $ view, as you can see three counties from the view point. To the North Caithness, to the West Sutherland and you are standing in Ross-shire. Absolutely gorgeous on a sunny day, Oh and I am a native of Alness and know the watering hole The "Station" hotel very well.

When u leave the cafe and turn right going over the bridge to Braemar there was a sign saying beware of poisonous snakes, only one I’ve ever seen in the UK, apparently rife with Adders in that area!

Hello folks, great video again and some good crack, just some info if you didn't know, there is a motorcycle dealer and workshop just outside Inverness called Mitchells Motorcycles on the A862 to Beauly, about a mile out of Clachnaharry, its also a great road that will take you to the west coast.

Great video but just to put balance on BMW Ducati I've had 2 Ducatis no issues 30 thousand miles and isn't the 1300 GS setting on fire with faulty starter solenoid or is it a crude attempt at a heated seat 😂
My Multi V2S has had no issues, can’t be said for my three previous GSs, new cylinder on my 1250, luckily under warranty…
I’ve a good mate who’s owned 2 Ducati’s, had nothing but issues with both 🤷♂️
Luck of the draw I think, but it’s how it’s dealt with that really matters to me personally
BMW has the biggest recall of all bikes only advantage with BMW is there after sales is good 👍

Does the comms stay live all the time or do you have to push something to talk/ turn off comms etc?
Great vid but a bit confused, one minute you're riding with Loch Ness on your right...so heading south to FW?...then you're south of Inverness heading to Grantown?....Be good if you showed the route.👍
