For those who have been addicted and have decreased heavily, how did you do so (I still do work and get much of worldly stuff done, but still waste bunch of time that could be far better used)
Try to avoid eating meat during lunch. Avoid over stimulation away from your phone (and ironically TH-cam). Do stimulation therapy in the sense of if it is dark outside, don't use too many bright lights inside. Accept the natural light of day and the darkness of night. Don't listen to any music, and even for nasheeds, balance it out with just silence. Spend a portion of your day sitting outside and staring at trees while making dhikr.
@@t-4579 just get so busy that you barely have time for anything, try to stay from phone while your free keep it out of your reach, uninstall all the apps you don't need i.e instagram, snapchat, youtube etc. Turn off the wifi or data on your phone. Whenever you feel like a need to use phone for no actual reason just remember allah and do zikr, Or just get down and do some pushups. Assalamualaikum
@@t-4579 Eating a heavy meal during mid day (typically meat) makes you really heavy headed and cozy. This lowers your guard and makes you less serious, making you prone to fall towards addictions. Eating heavy at night is nice because it helps you sleep easily. This is all stuff that works for myself. Try experimenting and see what works for you. Wa iyaak.
