JazakAllah khair, Ustadh, for the reminder to focus on deen, good character, and istikhara + istishaara when it comes to choosing a spouse. I may be biased as a woman, but it seems to me that due to the media propagating so many images of filtered and perfect women and society's obsession with perfection and youth that many good sisters who maybe 30 or older are overlooked as flawed or expired. I know so many beautiful sisters who have never been married who are patiently waiting for a good Muslim man. They may have received many proposals or none at all but due to family expectations, illness in family, or simply not finding someone compatible etc, their marriage has been delayed. They pray on time, they are beautiful and have taken care of themselves, they are chaste and they are educated and also come from good respectable families. Also, many of these ladies are busy with their professional lives and community service, but they know that each stage in life has its priorities so they are more than willing to shift their focus when married and put in the effort to be a good wife for their future husband/family. How can we make sure these sisters find good God-conscious men? Are Muslim leaders doing enough to help practicing sisters get married? Many of these sisters are dignified in their approach and you will rarely see them mingling with men. They are mostly at work, at home taking care of their older parents, at the gym and buying groceries and when they have some time are at the masjid volunteering or at a circle of knowledge or islamic event. Some don't want to put themselves out there on apps or in matrimonial events, not saying that is undignified or wrong, but some sisters don't see that as the most comfortable setting or the most effective way to match people. How can we make it easy for them to meet other good marriageable and compatible men in the community in an Islamically appropriate environment and in a natural way?

Local muslim communities and leaders should be doing more. This is an issue that so many are aware of and are impacted by, yet little is done at the collective level.

SubhanAllah the Qadr of Allah in this act feels real-time (when it always was anyway - humans are forgetful beings)
The act of istikhara forces a tawakkul and I think that makes it such a blessed act and there is a ton of wisdom in the fact it is prescribed for us during trials

I dont always agree with the elders thing.
Some elders give horrible advise, i thin it's got to do with knowledge coupled with wisdom and experience.
I'd go with the youth who has wisdom and knowledge over the elder who has neither.
But I'll always go with the elder who has wisdom and knowledge over anyone.

Me same brother. May Allah raise our Iman and will to fight for Allahs cause. The moment will come , when marriage just happens. It’s not a big issue. We just need to risk a bit , and act. And be honest with Allah.

The questioner is not asking how does he know he's found Mrs Right. It seems he doesn't know how to find her.. A way to find spmeone?.. Serve the community. And in the process you'll find someone or she/those who know her will find you. Worse result is that you simply served the community.
