well at 5:14 alot of that combo was a leader switch glitch like tenten doing the grab animation while not being the active character, so maybe CC2 can fix those or make it a official mechanic in the game.

Turning Naruto's mother who also had the dream of becoming hokage, had high Chakra reserves and beat the sh*t out of her bullies deserved a moveset that showed she was just as capable of being a Shinobi as Minato...not a house wife.
If they actually commit and add a huge roster of new characters, optional jutsus/secret techniques per ninja, and (MOST OF ALL) tons of new tag team cinematic ultimate jutsus. I’d pre order and buy every DLC. Hands down.

What I really want is that they bring back the old armoured susanoo awakenings for Sasuke, Itachi and Shisui or at least make it selectable and the tilt awakenings. The perfect susanoo's not just suck but breaks the lore too.
I think connections should be like revelations with the clothes u know like backpacks on characters and we should be able to put any outfit or accessory on characters hands down like when Naruto join the Akatsuki that one time
I get that there are a lot of people who took a glance at the original announcement trailer and instantly wrote this off, but as someone who literally bought Generations and Revolutions (the two inbetween games that quite literally copy/paste and then added some quirk or unique mechanic) I'm excited. I bought Storm 4 back when it first released and although I'd return to it maybe a couple times a year, there is 0 reason to go back to it. Giving it a refresh, new story, updated characters, and new characters makes it a totally different experience. I just really hope they add in some old stuff people have been wanting to return, like the extra combo they used to have. I also miss the longer ultimates and they seemed to extend the ultimates later in the games so maybe they'll return.

given that we are getting a new storymode as well, and the boruto story DLC is like 20 bucks, 14 DLC characters+ the storymode would be over 60 dollars already and thats not even accounting for the QOL and mechanical changes we are getting. it absolutely is worth it.

these are the mechanics that I personally think they could give a good refresh for this saga: - it's true what u say about the substitution Globku but I think that a circle cooldown like demons slayer could work better than a shorter substitution. If u running out of substitutions how u can counter the spam if they keep the chakra combo spam for pressure? - two general jutsu are good but a third one, maybe a specific/personal ( a special move that made the character famous or he does many times in the series/manga) would give a much variety specials options, for combo and other - the awakenings should have an entire new moveset (up, down and neutral analogic stick combo) and not only a neural combo like i suppose it will be.. the character is more deep and allow a more variety of refreshing styles combos even only to just watch when u fight - the ultimate jutsu should be related to a only one button like in demon slayer. The need of pressing two times triangle and O for what? It's frustrating and unnecessary I think that if they add all this in a way or another this can be a good refresh system for this old game

Awakening skills don't have blue chakra aura. They have a different red particle effect, so it's more likely to be a second jutsu. There's also a yellow sparkle right before Baryon Mode side stepped after that attack, which only happens when people block or ninja move after cancelling a jutsu.
Some people still claim that Generations and Revolution had nothing new despite their under the surface mechanic changes that made it impossible to back to 2. No matter how much they update the game and how big or different it objectively is, some people are blind and will still think this is "just a copy paste".
4:14 dunno your experience in storm but they take a LONG ASS time to come back, when I get caught without subs I can say goodbye to at least the entire green bar.
The fact that you can actually combo in this NS game is great. The only competitive Naruto fight games I've played were Gekitou Ninja Taisen 4, Clash of Ninja Revolution 3, and Gekitou Ninja Taisen Special. It kinda kills me that people don't know about this series. I've never seen UNS as a competitive fighting game until Revolutions(?) And even then it still looks like a button masher. I'm just so happy that we can use real combos in UNSC.
There have been real combos for a long time. Hollow steps, infinites, button locks, leader switch combo routes like itachi's Tilt into switch to extend the combo.
Fifa, GTA, COD, Halo were dominating the gaming industry during the anime game days buddy. I only started playing anime games in 2019 but I will admit I did play dragon ball raging blast back on 360 as a kid along with 20 plus other games which were good.
Real competitive play started in generations with tilt cancelling but then storm 3 had the the shit with that new team mechanic they added which gave characters access to legit combos into ultimate who couldn’t do it without support
@Man Bat nah there's great value. In comp play its all about getting opponents to waste their subs then find a high damaging route. For example if you're subless I'm going to get you with say the last Sasukes infinite string once or twice plus his defense down tag and if your subs haven't loaded I'll cancel the second into is ultimate jutsu. That's a lot of damage there. And ig your subs are just starting to reload then ill cancel into ultimate earlier to make you waste a sub and now that slows down their reload speed. Or you can just eat the ultimate. So it's a win win.
I remember when ninja storm 1 launched , it was revolutionary, over time they just remade the same game leaving the story mode worse and the battle with much less detail.
With all these costumes theve added theirs alot of them that needs to have their own moveset so I'll be crossing my fingers for that. For me I just want my toneri and maybe just maybe 2nd state jugo which they can do if they are making new movesets for characters especially jugo's akatsuki costume.

I genuinely believe Naruto used a jutsu and not an awakening action. If you look closely after Naruto punches the ground (3:23) you can see the yellow "cancel flash" whenever you guard cancel a jutsu or chakra dash in a combo. And I'm pretty confident that you cannot guard cancel awakening actions in storm 4 Also awakening actions doesn't flash blue when you use them
Wait but doesn't the dpad jutsu not give off the blue chakra light? It just summons the thing since it doesn't need chakra so the multiple jutsu is still possible
What i don't understand is how people can say it looks like a dlc. It's an arena fighter, what do you want? It has new characters, mechanics, and story, all of which you usually get in a new fighting game, correct? It makes 0 sense to hate on the game for the dumbest reason ever.
I also would like them to let us be able to use any jutsu and ultimates with any variant and outfit of the same era character. Like having any version of Naruto be able to use Six Paths jutsu. What I mean is this would exclude characters by era, for example Pts Naruto won’t be able to use any Shippuden Naruto jutsu, but all versions of Shippuden could use all justsu amongs themselves. As well selecting starting Support characters’ jutsu before the match, not just the starting lead.
Hello Globku!, love the video and i do enjoy your analysis on things its always so interesting. i been wanting to speak to your personally in explaining some takes you have on storm (not in a your wrong toxic way) just more conversational as i do have not only a lot of experience in Naruto Storm 4 but also traditional games like Tekken 7, fighterz, DNF duel, Streetfighter, guilty gear and so on. You mention having a infinite makes other creative stuff pointless because you can just go for the infinite as it costs no resources but something i wanted to being to your attention is combo like that actually is viable in storm but not how you think. There are this thing called sub traps where you can make someone sub into a guaranteed hit or pressure both in a block string and during a combo, tenten is good for this also (which if needed i can maybe demonstrate. my playstyle i express threw my channel is creative set ups which really stand out but also effective in my gameplay and has lead me to beat very strong players because of it and in fact infinites don't get used much in competitive play (the ones you mention) due to players having strong sub control so these creative combos actually get used a lot (especially in the EU community) this is the only way i can hopefully get your to see this and i can elaborate further but this is a YT comment section and this comment is a lot SUPER long as it is LOL hopefully you see this and would love to hear your input or even speak to you personally is possible.
*I figured out a good combo with new minato attack* Sand shower then immediately minato attack. If you do it quick enough or if the opponent isn’t moving for whatever reason, you will be attacking them while they’re both stunned and taking damage from sand shower
I just hope they give older characters some updates. I'm tired of the same ultimates for characters that have been around since Storm 2. All the rookies and team Guy desperately need it. If I have to hear Shikamaru say "That's your grave" one more time in his ultimate I'm gonna lose it.
CyberConnect2 should do the Smash Bros. Ultimate approach and add ALL the characters (Pakura, Gari, 7 Ninja Swordsmen, G&S Bros, filler characters) to make the game more complete. Adding Ashura, Indra and the lame Baryon Mode isn’t enough. If they are going to milk more money from the fans, at least put some more effort into it. Naruto Mobile (Chinese game) actually did that and more, going above and beyond making the game better by adding new characters every year.
I can't wait for the game I haven't played a storm in like 10 years, I just hope they fix Naruto's awakening voice cause its absolutely bad at the moment though. I am also bummed Sasuke got the shit end of the stick in regards for his ultimate cause he uses Pains move and boring Kirin

Ten ten need long and close range combos so in my head she should have the most combos. They lack creativity in the other characters we love. They need to do better. You forgot storm 4 had tilt skills. It was always 2 Justus. But hopefully we get 3 like demon slayer

i been wanting to speak to your personally in explaining some takes you have on storm (not in a your wrong toxic way) just more conversational as i do have not only a lot of experience in Naruto Storm 4 but also traditional games like Tekken 7, fighterz, DNF duel, Streetfighter, guilty gear and so on.
You mention having a infinite makes other creative stuff pointless because you can just go for the infinite as it costs no resources but something i wanted to being to your attention is combo like that actually is viable in storm but not how you think.
There are this thing called sub traps where you can make someone sub into a guaranteed hit or pressure both in a block string and during a combo, tenten is good for this also (which if needed i can maybe demonstrate.
my playstyle i express threw my channel is creative set ups which really stand out but also effective in my gameplay and has lead me to beat very strong players because of it and in fact infinites don't get used much in competitive play (the ones you mention) due to players having strong sub control so these creative combos actually get used a lot (especially in the EU community)
this is the only way i can hopefully get your to see this and i can elaborate further but this is a YT comment section and this comment is a lot SUPER long as it is LOL hopefully you see this and would love to hear your input or even speak to you personally is possible.

I already brought DLC on storm 4 not spending a full price game on more DLC with slight changes
*I figured out a good combo with new minato attack* Sand shower then immediately minato attack. If you do it quick enough or if the opponent isn’t moving for whatever reason, you will be attacking them while they’re both stunned and taking damage from sand shower
60 fps vs. 30 fps in Storm also messes with combos. For example, Sage Kabuto has an infinite on 30 fps that can't be done in 60 fps
1 of the things I hope they fix is QTEs cause it's kinda boring that it doesn't have any consequences aside from giving stars for secret factor
I just hope they give older characters some updates. I'm tired of the same ultimates for characters that have been around since Storm 2. All the rookies and team Guy desperately need it. If I have to hear Shikamaru say "That's your grave" one more time in his ultimate I'm gonna lose it.

CyberConnect2 should do the Smash Bros. Ultimate approach and add ALL the characters (Pakura, Gari, 7 Ninja Swordsmen, G&S Bros, filler characters) to make the game more complete. Adding Ashura, Indra and the lame Baryon Mode isn’t enough. If they are going to milk more money from the fans, at least put some more effort into it.
Naruto Mobile (Chinese game) actually did that and more, going above and beyond making the game better by adding new characters every year.
I can't wait for the game I haven't played a storm in like 10 years, I just hope they fix Naruto's awakening voice cause its absolutely bad at the moment though. I am also bummed Sasuke got the shit end of the stick in regards for his ultimate cause he uses Pains move and boring Kirin

I’ve bought so many from the past. How come people like choji and lee got the same damn moves and kiba still doing the same ultimate he done when he was a kid. Ten ten need long and close range combos so in my head she should have the most combos. They lack creativity in the other characters we love. They need to do better. If they want me to buy another game

IF they implement the mechanics in the story arcs with them 60 f’s than it’s a W for me but if they basically transferred the story arcs from the past games with the past mechanics with a ps5 paint job? It’s not worth da retail price but solid dlc for both consoles 🤷🏾♂️
I just hope we have less subtitution, cuz its so annoying to never be able to do a combo, put combo timers and make only 2 substitutions or smth like that to prevent infinite combo or make the substitution charge slower

Idk I don't want the crumble extension only because enough crazy stuff happens in storm 4 with what we already got lol. Also the "switch tech" is what I'm considering a glitch. There's no way that's the intended use. Free dash? Free jutsu? It literally negates the point of the chakra bar, yet the subs are what bother you?? That aside I do hope this game proves me wrong

We shouldn't have to be making deep dive analysis videos of a trailer in order to prove the game is new..if this game truly is new then the developers have done a bad job communicating that info
