Did striker announce even more dlc for striker after connections releases? Also, do you think ishkii will be playable or borushiki (do you think they will be dlc). I’m pretty sure if they are you can’t play isshiki and jigen at the same time or boruto and boroshiki at the same time.
I would like to see a Naruto Open World Action RPG where you can create and customize your own ninja and choose your own clan such as the Uzumaki, Uchiha, Senju, Hyuga, Aburame, Akimichi, Inuzuka, Nara, Sarutobi, Hatake and Yamanaka and choose your own Hidden Village such as the Leaf, Cloud, Sand, Mist and Stone. You can also choose your own chakra nature affinity and become part of a Genin Team led by a Jonin sensei, become a Kage or a Rouge Ninja.

I kinda doubt that, look at how little actually meaningfully changed from Xenoverse 1 to 2 and that was under Banco aswell. They seem fairly uninterested in actually giving these studios the budget and time they need to actually fulfill the fantasy of 'X game where you create a character in the world'. Xenoverse 1 and 2 both fell short in that regard(Series build on transformation, transformation half baked,arbitrary restrictions on outfit colors, no ki colour changing), and Shinobi strikers managed to be even more restrictive in almost every regard (I'm also kinda tired of these games doing 'create your character' by way of having your character just rummage through every canon character's wardrobe while wearing their hair as a wig).
I would love to see a shinobi striker sequel where the game is more polished, more game modes, a similar story mode to xenoverse involving our created avatars. Maybe a more open world options to make the character creating more significant in terms of the village where you came from and that.
I'd still love a sequel or at least a spiritual successor to the Clash of Ninja series. Fighting games have been popping off like crazy and it could do very well provided they get the right team behind the project! ^^
The thing about Boruto's manga is that it's on hiatus right now. Before, when it was releasing a chapter every month, it was very consistently in the top 5. It even got to #1 a couple of times during huge moments. And it's a monthly manga competing against mostly weekly mangas. So I'd say, while its obviously not as successful as Naruto (possibly the most successful anime franchise ever), its still very successful and up there amongst some of the best.

They could also go with the 2D competitive FG genre with Naruto by getting a FighterZ treatment using characters from Naruto and including unique mechanics proper to the naruto verse (something like a modern Ultimate Ninja 5)
This is what I want so bad, especially since Naruto puts heavy emphasis on teams of 3, it would be so perfect for a MvC/DBFZ style game. THIS is what they SHOULD do in my honest opinion, but we'll see.

These games were so much better (as fighting games) than every other Naruto game released. I actually feel like Shinobi Strikers could’ve been a fun pvp game if CaCs weren’t a thing since they destroy balance. Also you’d need to get rid of the rampant cheaters and rage quitters. Storm was cool like 10+ years ago, at this point it’s so tired and really needs a ton of improvement which they’ll never give. At least there’s been a competitive scene revival for GNT4.

Man, BE SMART BANDAI NAMCO! Naruto Storm 3 and 4 where ahead of the anime! Storm 3 had KMC and broke Obito’s mask over a YEAR compared to the anime! And Storm 4 brought Naruto VS Sasuke final for like 1/2 years before the anime! What am I saying? GIVE US TIMESKIP BORUTO! Obviously not at release but at some point with DLC like the Jojo game is doing. It’s clear to me that the current strategy of anime games is adding DLC characters. And I expect Storm connections to take full advantage!
I think Shuiesha and Bandai see the Naruto series as the second dragonball series. Dragonball is basically set to get games in perpetuity and I think Naruto might be similar.
I hope they make a game like Pirate warrior 4. It’s basically you pick a character and fight thousands of enemies with some unique enemies all while trying to complete a mission.
If storm 5 is the last Naruto/ Boruto game my hope is that it is the best Naruto game ever that features every single storm character ever including new characters making it one of the biggest game character rosters ever! That is my dream game.
What i want is Naruto FighterZ or a revival of the CoN series, they could even develope that in house, just let the Tekken Team make a Clash of Ninja game. And the chances for Shinobi Striker 2 are as high as for Xenoverse 3, as long as they can cashcow it they wont release a sequel.
Shinobi striker still needs to just work, Bandai really can’t even get the game to function properly let alone well. Try getting a full lobby or see how long before the game crashes

I think either way is a depressing future for Naruto games. I think Bandai needs to retire the license for another visionary. They probably never will because *in my Mr Krabs voice* “money”. But Shinobi Striker isn’t even a Naruto game at this point. Just feels like a generic ninja-esc game with pretty graphics and Easter eggs from Baruto/Boruto. I think you missed something when talking about the views of the Boruto manga on mangaplus. Boruto was between second and third place multiple weeks. Now it’s on hiatus and there are just 6 chapters available, meaning that there is nothing to read. Before the hiatus it was close behind chainsaw man in views
Even tough SS is a game that I would like to see supported and expanded, I think you are right about it being too stiff for big updates. A SS2 would be nice, and it would be even better if somehow they gave back to the community who kept the first alive... benefiting players with a SS1 copy on the second game or something.
The final storm game (whatever that may be) will hopefully have full roster with no cut characters between all generations of Naruto! If not, I’m sure people will mod in previous character like how they’ve brought Lars into most storm games.
They should just merge the games 🤷🏻 As long as they're willing to optimise, it'll still be taking up less storage than most games these days. It also keeps many players happy with content easily accessible without switching between games.
Shinobi Strikers 2 and Connections longevity would be the key to a new game until the end of the Boruto manga years down the line. When that day comes, it would be epic for a full Naruto to Boruto story mode/ storm game…. Pipe dream here
We were talking about that in one of the storm modding servers before connections IP was even announced. There’s 100% a desire for a *full* story mode game between both series! If connections doesn’t do it fully, I’m sure the modding community will mod in the missing story events (if they feel up to it, messing with the engine takes time and trial/error).
I would like a new naruto game to be like dragon x where you can create your own character and choose which clan you want to be like i always wanted to see more otsutsukis and I would pay money to just choose the otsutsuki clan and create my own otsutsuki character and maybe it could be like a different time line where what if the oc you create actual follows the events in naruto or boruto and interact with the characters
Storm 4 is $10 right now on the switch, but I'm debating getting it because of connections coming out soon. Is connections just storm 4 but better? Or is it an entirely new game?
Pretty much a better version of storm 4; which isn't saying much because storm 4 is extremely flawed and lack luster since all of the essential game mechanics get dismantled by the broken addition of leaderswitch. Simultaneously leaderswitch ends up being to most fun and fast paced thing to abuse in storm 4. Without leaderswitch most of the community finds storm 4 to be boring since there is only a small margin of players that are actually good at the game without using it. What Storm connections does is it takes some of the thrill away from leaderswitch a bit to focus more on a fast paced way to attack your opponent nonstop with extended combos that can continue even after knocking an enemy down.
@@-DEYRA- It's not worth the price, but it'll be a bit better than storm 4. It'll get boring just like storm 4 after two or 3 months as well, and then it'll be a spam fest of people abusing the most broken flawed mechanics in the game.
The thing is the Boruto anime is miles more successful than the manga is. It has consistently been TVTokyo's most profitable currently airing anime since it aired. It outsells Yugioh, Pokemon, Bleach and Black Clover. Overall it's the second most profitable, only second to the general Naruto franchise but there were years where it was number one.
Devil's Third got mentioned, let's go! I highly doubt we'll get more Naruto good games any soon. Shinobi Striker is alive thanks to their small but dedicated fanbase and Storm Connections is just a Deluxe port that I don't think many people will get compared to previous titles anyways. Boruto was really a mistake even bigger than Dragon Ball GT.
Honestly what i do appreciate about Boruto Strikers over connections is giving an actual Boruto characters outside Boruto and Kawaki Sarada has a full arsenal of jutsu and in game they just made some shit up in Strikers the give Konohamaru his actual justu including Enra Even if they added Sumire or Metal in Connections i know they wont utilize there the dozens of justu they know. Like Metal is a Ninja tool specialist (seriously how is TenTen not his mom) or Shikidai and his Wind Style jutsu Hima would be Hype especially in here Genin status in the anime or Deepa

I'd personally really like to see an open world/exploration action rpg naruto part 1 game that retells the whole story kinda like dbz kakarot. Storm has done an incredible job of adapting the shippuden story, but that can’t be said for og naruto, because storm 1 is pretty rough if I’m honest. If that’s too much of a pipedream game somehow, then I hope we can at least get a home console muso/warriors game for naruto, that’d be my 2nd choice for a naruto dream game.
Id always imagine IF there were to be a SS2 it would be like Monster Hunter Worlds in some sort. The player hub is konoha which i hope they make it bigger than current SS. Players queue in squads of 4 like usual. Difficulty is based on Rank Chosen(like monster hunter). The story quests then unlocks after doing certain missions(like hunt bad ninja or rescue cat for some examples). After mission is picked the squad rolls out. BAM you land in big location(like monster hunter) continue quest objective depending what it is. as higher rank missions are picked the missions are harder and the shinobi are harder perhaps even get ganked as your team is trying to do or find objective(many ways various ways for mission ideas). There can even be big battles too. Maybe fighting a tailed beast or Susano Sasuke or something. Pvp will have its modes and improved upon from SS. Further customization options maybe like a skill tree for character and small skill tree in jutsus maybe in the way how you want a certain jutsu to perform or somethin. i kinda like the stat page like xeno verse. maybe add stats like chakra pool, hp, taijutsu dmg, speed, ninjutsu dmg, genjutsu duration or effectiveness?, substitution jutsu recharge rate, chakra recharge rate, ninja too effectiveness to name some.

I believe if they made shinobi striker 2 an online open world where there are smaller villages/towns around and you captures those with the help of which ever Main village you choose(cloud, leaf, sand etc..) members. That way you can take all the aspects of the first shinobi striker and build off of it into a even larger scale project which would then allow the community to do more things further inside the game (Nice Game concept down Below) @Globku This Game would act into 2 part seasons in the middle the season would reset the map not progress and we can vote the villages we want next (allowing players to choose would be best until we cant handle or something happens) Game Example: Hidden Leaf vs Hidden sand vs Hidden cloud (It could be more villages or it could be less depending on devs) Game Objective: Claim the surrounding towns/villages. The Village with the most towns/villages claimed at the end of that part of the season wins for that part of the season (Gets some type of actual reward that's satisfying or decent) - Defend the tiles as well because they could be stolen from your village - To hold a village needs to be have at least one of your own claim tiles connected (A someone example oo(village trying to be claimed) xxx) - Get bonuses(cool-downs, attack speed up, Crafting kunai and swords cost less. Maybe it's a blacksmith village??) from some of the villages you "Protect" (Claim) - a mentor system so maybe in that village there is someone that could teach you a new move(sounds weird but that way you have to go out and try to get that place) More Ideas: -Make a guild system so we can still hangout with friends and meet new people(please everyone don't just be Akatsuki clan) -Guild system will be 11 people (I added one more for the sake of person who creates the guild should count so really 10 people the same number as Akatsuki) -Crafting system(I don't how to add this, but maybe quest that give materials that you need to craft the weapons and gear) -Another factor could be like a system where you have rouge ninjas, not a lot of them maybe like 5 per team.I don't know what would be the benefits or balances would be but it would be in there(which somewhat feeds into the whole boruto becoming a rouge ninja, but still maintaining the Naruto fans being able to do great ninja wars and things like that . Sorry I don't know a lot about boruto. Servers: Servers of course would be a huge question, well the simple,but complex is to do a large server. This one large sever(A Main Node) then inside that server make hexagons( to make the map also feel nice and not boring)The Hexagons will act as a smaller server inside of the main one(smaller nodes), which they could have a limit to the amount of players there. So for example if each hexagon can hold 50 players then the limit for each team will be 16 players per hexagon(Leaving just about 2 spots for admin just in-case of cheating or voice chat abuse or chat abuse) if it's a village vs village vs village(1v1v1). if it's just village vs village (1v1) then it would be 25 players per team. Thus allowing what would feel like a larger fight depending on the numbers, but would be actually small. the whole limit all the special moves/move sets and customization, what chakra nature etcc... you can have fun with that and put some Ideas up :) I am Game Development student (Game Dev/programmer) and I am sharing this just to show it is possible for them to do it, it's just how much are they willing to put into it. Specially with the server situation( It does cost a lot to keep a server going so that is why I suggested this method) Also sorry for my weird typing/ typo errors
Probably not because unlike Dragonball, Naruto is pretty much done. They got no reason to push it unless they do a Naruto x Boruto and those type of games are already a mixed bag because they can’t please everyone. If they want to please everyone they’re better off just milking storm.
A Shinobi Striker 2 would be awsome with BR and better/Unique pvp would be awsome. I got my first console pretty late so I actully played striker free trial before I played Storm. They would run my pockets dry if a Shinobi Striker 2 came out. Especially if it was free to play, I would be more likely to buy all those dlcs.
@@zimfiend Exactly. A sequel could fix the connectivity and the horseshit ninja tools that are locked behind an awful monetization system. (Basically, not make this game peer to peer, or at least make the host migrate. Make "premium" weapons only cosmetic with no advantages at all and/or remove the gacha). There's way more to fix but this should be the most important.

I remember I was just watching TH-cam one day and saw a shinobi striker video and I clicked on it and I flipped out when I heard you could make your own ninja so after like a month I got it on my PlayStation and it’s one of my favourite games to date
We need more competition for Naruto games in the market like the old days when every console had there own exclusive Naruto game. Broken Bond and Clash Of Ninja games were awesome and in some regards better then Storm games. More companies need to have Naruto license so we can see more Naruto games. Not every game needs to be from Bandai.
Shinobi Striker 2 has to be real. Free to play, Cross-platform, Open world lobby, at least one more major mode, Custom match, Battle Pass with unique cosmetics, Clans and official tournaments. It would finally be a competitive game if they do it right without all the shitty blue screen, terrible matchmaking and infinite loading screen
The only Naruto game I want after Connections is a 2D fighter developed by ArcSystemWorks, and I don't think we really need a Storm 5 after Connections

I think Shuiesha and Bandai see the Naruto series as the second dragonball series. Dragonball is basically set to get games in perpetuity and I think Naruto might be similar.
I hope they make a game like Pirate warrior 4. It’s basically you pick a character and fight thousands of enemies with some unique enemies all while trying to complete a mission.

@dawnstartheanimeman Bro, have you ever used Manga Plus? If a new chapter of almost any big franchise releases, it instantly becomes number one. If you were present at the release of a prior Boruto chapter, you would have noticed it almost always was number one within a day.
I think either way is a depressing future for Naruto games. I think Bandai needs to retire the license for another visionary. They probably never will because *in my Mr Krabs voice* “money”. But Shinobi Striker isn’t even a Naruto game at this point. Just feels like a generic ninja-esc game with pretty graphics and Easter eggs from Baruto/Boruto. I think it’s time for a Naruto Strikers, a 3D Naruto RPG like One Piece Odyssey, or someone to buy my game off of me and restore Clash of Ninja ;)
Strikers is literally lightning in a bottle, a xenoverse 2 level of upgrade would be gold, and if it's more effort, it could even last longer than xenoverse 2

I think you missed something when talking about the views of the Boruto manga on mangaplus. Boruto was between second and third place multiple weeks. Now it’s on hiatus and there are just 6 chapters available, meaning that there is nothing to read. Before the hiatus it was close behind chainsaw man in views

Even tough SS is a game that I would like to see supported and expanded, I think you are right about it being too stiff for big updates. A SS2 would be nice, and it would be even better if somehow they gave back to the community who kept the first alive... benefiting players with a SS1 copy on the second game or something.

They should just merge the games 🤷🏻 As long as they're willing to optimise, it'll still be taking up less storage than most games these days. It also keeps many players happy with content easily accessible without switching between games.

Shinobi Strikers 2 and Connections longevity would be the key to a new game until the end of the Boruto manga years down the line. When that day comes, it would be epic for a full Naruto to Boruto story mode/ storm game…. Pipe dream here
We were talking about that in one of the storm modding servers before connections IP was even announced. There’s 100% a desire for a *full* story mode game between both series! If connections doesn’t do it fully, I’m sure the modding community will mod in the missing story events (if they feel up to it, messing with the engine takes time and trial/error).
I would like a new naruto game to be like dragon x where you can create your own character and choose which clan you want to be like i always wanted to see more otsutsukis and I would pay money to just choose the otsutsuki clan and create my own otsutsuki character and maybe it could be like a different time line where what if the oc you create actual follows the events in naruto or boruto and interact with the characters

If NTBSS would just go down the Xenoverse route it could rival that.

I started playing Shinobi Strikers because I thought it would be like the Storm series but a bit different because of Boruto & the CAC’s
Storm 4 is $10 right now on the switch, but I'm debating getting it because of connections coming out soon. Is connections just storm 4 but better? Or is it an entirely new game?
Pretty much a better version of storm 4; which isn't saying much because storm 4 is extremely flawed and lack luster since all of the essential game mechanics get dismantled by the broken addition of leaderswitch.
Simultaneously leaderswitch ends up being to most fun and fast paced thing to abuse in storm 4.
Without leaderswitch most of the community finds storm 4 to be boring since there is only a small margin of players that are actually good at the game without using it.
What Storm connections does is it takes some of the thrill away from leaderswitch a bit to focus more on a fast paced way to attack your opponent nonstop with extended combos that can continue even after knocking an enemy down.
Just wait for storm connections bc you can also play all the other version of storm game and you got new character and a New story
@@-DEYRA- It's not worth the price, but it'll be a bit better than storm 4. It'll get boring just like storm 4 after two or 3 months as well, and then it'll be a spam fest of people abusing the most broken flawed mechanics in the game.
The thing is the Boruto anime is miles more successful than the manga is. It has consistently been TVTokyo's most profitable currently airing anime since it aired. It outsells Yugioh, Pokemon, Bleach and Black Clover. Overall it's the second most profitable, only second to the general Naruto franchise but there were years where it was number one.
the anime is a failure in my eyes , pure bullshit with fillers , the manga on the other hand is consistent and actually good.

I highly doubt we'll get more Naruto good games any soon. Shinobi Striker is alive thanks to their small but dedicated fanbase and Storm Connections is just a Deluxe port that I don't think many people will get compared to previous titles anyways.

Honestly what i do appreciate about Boruto Strikers over connections is giving an actual Boruto characters outside Boruto and Kawaki
Sarada has a full arsenal of jutsu and in game they just made some shit up in Strikers the give Konohamaru his actual justu including Enra
Even if they added Sumire or Metal in Connections i know they wont utilize there the dozens of justu they know. Like Metal is a Ninja tool specialist (seriously how is TenTen not his mom) or Shikidai and his Wind Style jutsu

I'd personally really like to see an open world/exploration action rpg naruto part 1 game that retells the whole story kinda like dbz kakarot. Storm has done an incredible job of adapting the shippuden story, but that can’t be said for og naruto, because storm 1 is pretty rough if I’m honest. If that’s too much of a pipedream game somehow, then I hope we can at least get a home console muso/warriors game for naruto, that’d be my 2nd choice for a naruto dream game.

Id always imagine IF there were to be a SS2 it would be like Monster Hunter Worlds in some sort. The player hub is konoha which i hope they make it bigger than current SS. Players queue in squads of 4 like usual. Difficulty is based on Rank Chosen(like monster hunter). The story quests then unlocks after doing certain missions(like hunt bad ninja or rescue cat for some examples). After mission is picked the squad rolls out. BAM you land in big location(like monster hunter) continue quest objective depending what it is. as higher rank missions are picked the missions are harder and the shinobi are harder perhaps even get ganked as your team is trying to do or find objective(many ways various ways for mission ideas). There can even be big battles too. Maybe fighting a tailed beast or Susano Sasuke or something. Pvp will have its modes and improved upon from SS. Further customization options maybe like a skill tree for character and small skill tree in jutsus maybe in the way how you want a certain jutsu to perform or somethin. i kinda like the stat page like xeno verse. maybe add stats like chakra pool, hp, taijutsu dmg, speed, ninjutsu dmg, genjutsu duration or effectiveness?, substitution jutsu recharge rate, chakra recharge rate, ninja too effectiveness to name some.
Aye I know I might get hated for this but I think a Naruto musou game would be fire I'm just saying the only Naruto game that's close to that is ultimate ninja impact on PSP it's just My opinion tho

I believe if they made shinobi striker 2 an online open world where there are smaller villages/towns around and you captures those with the help of which ever Main village you choose(cloud, leaf, sand etc..) members. That way you can take all the aspects of the first shinobi striker and build off of it into a even larger scale project which would then allow the community to do more things further inside the game (Nice Game concept down Below) @Globku
This Game would act into 2 part seasons in the middle the season would reset the map not progress and we can vote the villages we want next (allowing players to choose would be best until we cant handle or something happens)
Game Example: Hidden Leaf vs Hidden sand vs Hidden cloud (It could be more villages or it could be less depending on devs)
Game Objective: Claim the surrounding towns/villages. The Village with the most towns/villages claimed at the end of that part of the season wins for that part of the season (Gets some type of actual reward that's satisfying or decent)
- Defend the tiles as well because they could be stolen from your village
- To hold a village needs to be have at least one of your own claim tiles connected (A someone example oo(village trying to be claimed) xxx)
- Get bonuses(cool-downs, attack speed up, Crafting kunai and swords cost less. Maybe it's a blacksmith village??) from some of the villages you "Protect" (Claim)
- a mentor system so maybe in that village there is someone that could teach you a new move(sounds weird but that way you have to go out and try to get that place)
More Ideas:
-Make a guild system so we can still hangout with friends and meet new people(please everyone don't just be Akatsuki clan)
-Guild system will be 11 people (I added one more for the sake of person who creates the guild should count so really 10 people the same number as Akatsuki)
-Crafting system(I don't how to add this, but maybe quest that give materials that you need to craft the weapons and gear)
-Another factor could be like a system where you have rouge ninjas, not a lot of them maybe like 5 per team.I don't know what would be the benefits or balances would be but it would be in there(which somewhat feeds into the whole boruto becoming a rouge ninja, but still maintaining the Naruto fans being able to do great ninja wars and things like that . Sorry I don't know a lot about boruto.
Servers: Servers of course would be a huge question, well the simple,but complex is to do a large server. This one large sever(A Main Node) then inside that server make hexagons( to make the map also feel nice and not boring)The Hexagons will act as a smaller server inside of the main one(smaller nodes), which they could have a limit to the amount of players there. So for example if each hexagon can hold 50 players then the limit for each team will be 16 players per hexagon(Leaving just about 2 spots for admin just in-case of cheating or voice chat abuse or chat abuse) if it's a village vs village vs village(1v1v1). if it's just village vs village (1v1) then it would be 25 players per team. Thus allowing what would feel like a larger fight depending on the numbers, but would be actually small.

Probably not because unlike Dragonball, Naruto is pretty much done. They got no reason to push it unless they do a Naruto x Boruto and those type of games are already a mixed bag because they can’t please everyone. If they want to please everyone they’re better off just milking storm.

A Shinobi Striker 2 would be awsome with BR and better/Unique pvp would be awsome. I got my first console pretty late so I actully played striker free trial before I played Storm. They would run my pockets dry if a Shinobi Striker 2 came out. Especially if it was free to play, I would be more likely to buy all those dlcs.

@@zimfiend Exactly. A sequel could fix the connectivity and the horseshit ninja tools that are locked behind an awful monetization system. (Basically, not make this game peer to peer, or at least make the host migrate. Make "premium" weapons only cosmetic with no advantages at all and/or remove the gacha).
There's way more to fix but this should be the most important.
@@lalo2513 bro yes Peer to peer is awful in shinobi striker. 10x worse than storm I stg, and the scroll system is completely rng based, especially since you only get 20 scrolls per event and takes like 50 to get ONE item... good thing I play on pc noe on console I had to worry about not getting specific items from the shop

We need more competition for Naruto games in the market like the old days when every console had there own exclusive Naruto game. Broken Bond and Clash Of Ninja games were awesome and in some regards better then Storm games. More companies need to have Naruto license so we can see more Naruto games. Not every game needs to be from Bandai.

Shinobi Striker 2 has to be real.
Free to play, Cross-platform, Open world lobby, at least one more major mode, Custom match, Battle Pass with unique cosmetics, Clans and official tournaments. It would finally be a competitive game if they do it right without all the shitty blue screen, terrible matchmaking and infinite loading screen
The only Naruto game I want after Connections is a 2D fighter developed by ArcSystemWorks, and I don't think we really need a Storm 5 after Connections
