      It's a very nice kit mate! Sounds and looks awesome! The true test will be on the 3rd of march when we find out how much power it makes 👌🏻 I've already noticed with this one the power delivery feels a lot better and no flat spots whatsoever compared with the direnza

      I’m predicting 225-230 from this setup Sean it’s gonna be right up there. RRC would stick it high 230’s possibly 240 I recon

    Great video, guys. Thanks! I had an HKS fitted to my CW but removed it with the intention of fitting a proper CAI.
    This looks like a pretty good kit, and the money saved over a CPL can go towards fog light vents, crank case breather, etc.

      It’s an absolute bargain dude. I’d expect these to go up by upto £100 in the near future

    Looks like a decent kit, cheaper than the CPL. Wonder if it will make any more or less power when mapped.

    • @Matty_Champwhite
      @Matty_Champwhite  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s physically identical to the CPL bar the two missing breather pipes so I imagine it’ll be on par to a decimal of a BHP to the real deal 👌

  • @dodge1724
    @dodge1724 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Nice work mate - not sure why they never added the two inlet pipes

    • @Matty_Champwhite
      @Matty_Champwhite  ปีที่แล้ว

      I assume they presume people will want to best breathing possible so will delete these like most already have. And likely keeps production costs down too

    Hi nice video , do you reckon you could get away with not taking the front bumper off and just going through the wheel arch ?

    • @Matty_Champwhite
      @Matty_Champwhite  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It would be tricky but doable, you have the find the correct resting angle against the inner splash guard. Get that wrong and your filter will make it poke into the arch, causing the wheel rub and tear through it

    GOOD VIDEO, So everytime need to take off the front bumper when u want to clean it up?

    • @Matty_Champwhite
      @Matty_Champwhite  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah OR the wheel and arch liner and get at it from the back same for all the cold air intakes they do for the FN2’s

  • @kickassaz
    @kickassaz ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Why didn't tegiwa give the option to run a silicone hose from the metal intake to the crankcase rather than a breather filter, any disadvantages?

    • @Matty_Champwhite
      @Matty_Champwhite  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Good question. The cam case breather is part of the PVC system, according to ‘how a PCV system works’ it’s an intake only, hence why people stick a small filter on them.
      Oil vapour can creep out though, and that can accumulate in a bit of misting around that area. It takes a long time though. And cleaning the filter a few times a year can help stop it.
      To summarise there’s no performance disadvantages as it’s not breathing this oil vapour any more.
      From an emissions standpoint you’re venting hydrocarbons. It’s not an MOT failure though.

    Is it okay without tune?

    • @Matty_Champwhite
      @Matty_Champwhite  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It will drive you to the tuner but it would be risky to run this long term without. Engine light was one before he got home.
      Same applies to all the good induction kits on the FN

    Hi Matty,
    Which differens for increase HP , if compare with Tegiwa CAI Carbon
    Thanks for advance

    • @Matty_Champwhite
      @Matty_Champwhite  ปีที่แล้ว

      Compared to the Tegiwa airbox?
      If so this CAI is far more efficient as the intake hose doesn’t drop bellow 3” in diameter.
      I think something may be lost in translation friend
