There was another one you missed out who is actually considered a bigger authority in the Maliki madhab than the two and his name is Qadi Abu Bakr ibn al-Arabi (RA). He was the most famous pupil of Imam Al-Ghazali (RA) who excelled in all sciences and many of his books of his books stand as classics of today. He is considered one of the greatest scholars of the Maliki madhab and he was from servile, Andalusia.
