The Trap Masters are such a good group of skylanders. A lot of them have such creative weapons like a shield, a psychic helmet, starfish-shaped shurikens, a giant pair of scissors, a viking helmet, and even a gear
I think the reason lob star isn't as popular is because the starter pack came with snapshot, a water trap master and as skylanders became more expensive, people might have thought it wasn't worth it
My theory about the traptanium weapons is that that, the traptanium is fused with the trap masters weapons. For example, when Wildfire became a trap master his shield was combined with the traptanium to make it stronger. So it’s still their original weapons, it’s just been fused with the traptanium to get the best of both worlds.

Here’s a fun idea I had while watching the Wildfire section: What if Traptanium wasn’t actually a naturally occurring resource, but some kind of crystalline manifestation of certain peoples willpower/heroic spirit. The way I interpreted the part about the shield “magically changing him” was that, through his selfless actions and his determination, the shield itself transformed into Traptanium in response to his heroism (think like in anime when the protagonist uses the “power of friendship” to manifest some new special move). The reason why Traptanium is able to weaken and trap villains is because it embodies the wielders pure heart, meaning it would be super effective on those with corrupted or dark hearts. (P.S I know Traptanium can be found in the form of crystals all over Skylands, but perhaps those are just the remains of ancient Trap Masters and their own weapons or just that maybe someone passed away and was buried in those places and their pure soul kind of seeped into the earth over time to form the crystals??? Idk I just thought this was kinda cool) Love your videos!❤
Any else here excited for the Youtooz x Skylanders merch they hinted at earlier this year? Skylanders was mentioned in the Youtooz collaborations list for 2025-2026.
Wallop definitely is a fan favorite rap Master for a reason. His hammer attacks are seriously OP when you upgrade them properly! Also did anyone else even a little confused back in 2014 that Wallop sounded different in the games compared to all the promotional commercials? I know they just had different voice actors for him in those two things but it just always bothered me a little that they sounded so drastically different.
I've always wondered how the Traptanium weapons were made. It's indestructible. The only 3 things we know can break Traptanium are the fork of infinite resonance, itself, and Wildfire. Did Wildfire make them somehow? That doesn't make sense since Jawbreaker had them before he was a Skylander, and he was mass produced. Did they form the same way the traps did? If so, how do you control what they turn into? The traps just seemed to turn into random things that are barely associated with their element.
I think a minor problem i have woth the skylander backstories is that a couple of these teams don't really have a bonding thread. Like when he was hired, why was Lobstar get put on the Trapmasters Team over the Swap Force(or whatever they were called before)? Or why is FreeRanger on The Swap Force and not the Trapmasters? If you'll allow me to fanfic a bit and propose something to solve bith this and the issues if why they use Traptanium over other weapons and the issue of ranged weapons. I think it would make sense that traptanium is usually super basically impossible to use as a weapon cause along eith beung super strong, its super heavy. So anything bigger than an IRL trap is basically impossible for someone to hold. But somehow a person can magically bond to a piece if traptanium which makes it super light, but also gives it sorta a similar thing ot Percy Jackson's Riptide, where it will always come back to them. And the probably have it in their backstories that the trapmasters have their old weapons basically fuse any ilder weapons they had. So like Wildfire still is using his father's shield, its just been transmuted into traptanium. Idk, a bit of a wild idea. But just anything to explain the weirdness since i love the trapmasters.

8:320 i meaan, high five? whirlwind? heck even Camo is described as an hybrid between plant and dragon, and irl plant is the furthest thing appart from animal so maybe dragons are plant if we look onely at camo but now, add a dragonfly into the mix...

To me, I think that Snap Shot and the Trap Masters made the weapons themselves.
