Listen to Brand of Sacrifice. It’s a deathcore band inspired by Berserk. I don’t even watch the show and I haven’t read it either, but I absolutely LOVE their music. Lifeblood, Demon King, and Animal have to be my favorites, but all their music goes hard.
I love how “Into the Black” has parts that can be interpreted as being said from Guts AND Griffith’s perspective. “Will the scars reveal all the sins you chose, and how betrayed I feel in my fractured bones” can be said obviously by Guts after Griffith’s betrayal in the eclipse, but this can also be said by Griffith after Guts left him and the hawks after their second duel - as Griffith saw Guts’ betrayal a great sin as he lay physically and emotionally fractured in his cell. A beautiful duality, as after both those crucial moments, Guts and Griffith were plunged into their respective “blacks.” Brilliant song as always man! EDIT: BERSERK IS BACK BOYSSSSS!!!!!
@@demonintellect9834 Well that’s true, but it doesn’t change the idea that to GRIFFITH, he saw Guts’ betrayal as the cause for his downfall into “his” black. I made this as a tribute too Berserk, I can't tell you if its a poem, or a song and its not even finished yet but I want to share it nonetheless. I had just finished the Lost Children's Arc for the 20th time so that's probably what I drew the most from. I came from the night, monsters followed me. When the crow fly's by, and this becomes your final night. You thought i'd being you peace, but you died because of my rage I'm not the hero, I've become a slave. Haven't been keeping up with your releases for too long. I got some catching up to do... a lot of it actually. This song is awesome. After the nth time listening to this it still gives me goosebumps.
Fighting the darkness closing in at the edge of my vision, I can see it. All the small questions, worries, every doubt I pushed aside along the way, just like I was, as soon as it was convenient. Is this what a promise is? What your word means? No amount of demons slain can attest for what we've done, what I did. To fight is to live. To fight the darkness that threatens to consume me. And when you had the audacity to be surprised by my survival, I barely heard your pathetic apologies. "I did it for us! I thought you were dead." A while ago, that would have worked. But the naive little thing you used as a tool no longer exists; it died, killed and left behind to rot by the one thing that gave them a sense of hope and meaning. I am but a ghost of who you once knew, and this broken husk will break no more. I will face my sins, forever fighting the darkness back, without you. And when I can fight it no longer, I will fight into the black, without you.
ive been listening to this song for weeks with a passing suspicion that it might be related to Berserk, but passing it off a a coincidence then suddenly on a whim i check out the youtube video and it turns out it is indeed a Berserk tribute. i like this song infinitely more now that i know its about my favorite series
This speaks for Guts clearly. I will forever miss the story of Kentaro, but it has birthed so many amazing pieces of media such as this song. The story of Berserk reached its end abruptly, but it's legacy will go on, and for that, I am grateful.
New album is amazing! For me, avi is an author with true dark souls philosophy. His stories are strange and beautiful, he experiment with builds (styles) with every new boss (album), he getting better and better with every new song (git gud), and i just can't imagine, how strong he'll be by the endgame. Thank you, avi!
Another great song! The lyrics are phenomenal. "When I curse your name, can you see my face" and "And do you taste my pain in this bloodstained place." is my favorite lines in the song. Really captures the the character's emotions.
The most beautiful part of Berserk is that it could be considered a story about recovering from the cycles of trauma and PTSD. The number of times Guts had to choose between his hate and his love... until one fateful day atop a tower, in front of a newly resurrected Griffith no less,, he finally chose. And the cycles began to break. But anyone who's gone through trauma knows it isn't that simple... rest easy, Guts. You earned it. And the same goes to Miura. Thanks, Aviators. You even went easy on the auto tune. Sounds better that way, imo

Sans toi
Mes cicatrices révéleront-elles
peux-tu voir mon visage
Et goûtes-tu ma douleur
Dans cet endroit tâché de sang
Toujours sur le front
Je me bats dans le noir
Sans toi
Sans toi
Mes cicatrices révéleront-elles
peux-tu voir mon visage
Et goûtes-tu ma douleur
Dans cet endroit tâché de sang
Toujours sur le front
Je me bats dans le noir
Sans toi
Sans toi
Mes cicatrices révéleront-elles
merci
Is there anything as good as waking up and seeing a new song of Awiator and then you start hearing it and youre like "O my god is this good"
A few seconds in, and I already know this is going to be great.
Incredible song! A very nice surprise to wake up to
"He died doing what he wanted, no matter what, right? I bet he was happy."
Love this so much! While a huge Berserk fan, the song lyrics also make me think of potential plans I have for the future of my story, or moments when life gets rough and you need to keep going, as does Guts.
I thought you were dead."
A while ago, that would have worked. But the naive little thing you used as a tool no longer exists; it died, killed and left behind to rot by the one thing that gave them a sense of hope and meaning. I am but a ghost of who you once knew, and this broken husk will break no more. I will face my sins, forever fighting the darkness back, without you. And when I can fight it no longer, I will fight into the black, without you.
ive been listening to this song for weeks with a passing suspicion that it might be related to Berserk, but passing it off a a coincidence
then suddenly on a whim i check out the youtube video and it turns out it is indeed a Berserk tribute. i like this song infinitely more now that i know its about my favorite series
Hauntingly beautiful emotional track, Struggler.
I hope we can see more berserk centered tracks from you in the future with the same feeling.
These are some of the most powerful lyrics I've ever heard, thanks for the goosebumps.
This speaks for Guts clearly. I will forever miss the story of Kentaro, but it has birthed so many amazing pieces of media such as this song. The story of Berserk reached its end abruptly, but it's legacy will go on, and for that, I am grateful.
A master piece, and even better from my favorite anime I adore it thank you
Do Brasil, mando minhas homenagens a Kentaro Miura!
This is one of the best songs you've made so far, Aviators.
Somber and filled with tragedy, much like Guts's entire character.
Have so many chills with this one, you never disappoint. what an amazing tribute to one of the best stories ever!
Finally more songs for Berserk, this pleases me.
3.9 thousand views already and only an hour of release time .....
Straight up legend's man.
All your work is great.
Iam crying everytime i hear that "without you" line. I love it♥
Wow that was awesome, thank you for making a song about Berserk!
Man, i follow your content since 2016, and every time you upload a new song i can't help but think what my life would be if i never found your channel and the first thing i think about is "i would be unhappy" cause your songs can make me cry, i can reliev all my anxiety and stress by listening just one of your songs, thanks for always making such a master pieces songs bro, you'll always have my support, and, have a nice day!
Ive never been this early for anything in my life. keep up the great work!
Berserk is one of my all time favourite stories I’ve had the pleasure of reading, I felt genuine sorrow when I heard the news of Kentaro’s passing. This song is one of the best tributes I’ve heard to him and the story he told, you’ve outdone yourself Aviators!!
First Beast in Black, now this. Today has been a good day.
This is a beautiful and long awaited tribute, Miura's work has been such an inspirational thing, glad to see your take on it
Ho dato tutto me stesso e giorno dopo giorno
Struggle, Endure, Contend, for that alone is the sword of one who defies Death.
Damn! I'm not gonna lie, I don't know the first thing about Berserk, but this has to be one of the best songs of yours that I've heard! Amazing job!
Thanks Avi, Berserk was my introduction in the Anime culture
6 years later this almost feels Nostologic of sorts.....
Yet another underrated song from an underrated artist
So damn good, bravo man, this just became one of my new favorite songs!
I really enjoyed your song, The great one survived earthquakes, tsunami and radiation, then we breathed a sigh of relief, but in the end doom still came to our favorite japanese legend, and grown men cried.
-Now "we are fighting into the black, Without him"
YAY, finally my favourite artist has made a song about my favourite manga. Hopefully this is just the first :D .
I Literally got emotional. You guys captured what berserk is all about. Miura would be proud. I am sure.
Rest in peace Kentaro Miura, thank you for the universe that left an indelible mark on my memory.
So sad and beautiful and on so many levels, the song itself, the source, and the fate of its writer.
Finished reading beseerk a month ago, truly a Msterpiece deserving of this song!
I've listened to this a dozen times over and everytime I remember watching all variations of Berserk.
Damn thing was a masterpiece in tragedy.
Been a fan of your stuff for awhile now, and while I enjoy the majority of your content, sometimes you just outright hit a home run. This is one of those.
Sincerely, keep doing you. You have a fan.
Bloody good work my friend, you never fail to impress.
This is an amazing tribute to the Berserk manga created by Kentaro Miura. It's one of my top favorite manga readings to this day because of how cruel humanity can truly be in this dark fantasy reading and Griffith with a difficult decision to keep on fighting absolute evil. May his soul find peace in the afterlife. His legacy will continue on with amazing artwork and story to pass down for generations to come.
My god avi i can not stop listening to this masterpiece this one is truely phenomenal.
Absolutely stunning. Was not expecting a song inspired by Berserk but I’m not disappointed. By far you are my favorite source of music for casual use or inspiration.
Always a bright part of my day when a new song gets released from you. Thanks for all the hard work and looking forward to what comes next.
Love your music like always
Every song on this channel is perfect!
I am writting this while listening to the new album "Modern Mythology". Aviators, I've been listening to your albums since Dystopian Fiction so I wasn't there at your beginning, but I want to say that you just released the best album I've listened to. Dude, how do you make such bangers?!
A stunning piece of work again. This tribute is to Berserk is masterfully done. Thank you Aviators
Never thought you'd write a song about Berserk. You outdid yourself as usual, though, and captured the atmosphere of the series perfectly. What an absolute banger.
Pure excellence as always. The art work is rather dynamic as well but that might just be in my head like it normally is.
A Berserk song from Aviators? This is a dream come true fr
Instantly became one of my favorite songs. Thank you Aviators.
A beautiful song, it has the same tone and feel like of "Apocalypse State of Mind" that feeling of dread and sadness of a "No Happy Ending" . Well done again Aviators well done.
