    I saw this actual performance when I was 12 years old. He was so different from anybody we ever saw, he was passionate when he sang and was so beautiful you couldn't not watch. He is the most beautiful entertainer to ever live. Thank you for this wonderful response. Be Blessed.

    Yes he presented himself so calm, no tension in his shoulders, didn’t try to rush through it, still was playful. And that smile! Kills me every time.

    His best work had nothing to do with his movies. Try "Blue Suede Shoes" from the '50s, or "Suspicious Minds" or "In the Ghetto" from his '60s comeback after his Army service.
