I'm not a "car guy" but i night an old international pick-up truck to fix up. I've done a TON of work to it. Awesome videos like this have helped a ton to ease my anxiety when taking on projects i have to place taking on. Your video is clear and informative. Thank you!
Liked the video man, but next time instead of hitting those bearings on; instead freeze the bearing and heat the shaft with a torch and that thing will slide on like butter👌🏻. No reason to beat yourself up hitting that and possibly messing up the bearing…
Hi great video! I'm building a 66 Mustang with 8 inch rear end like yours. I don't know what type off posi diff I should get I going to use the car for driving to car shows and meet but also plan to road race the car. I need something thats good for turning too. Do you have any recommendations?
Great question! I have converted my 70 Mustang with a Dana 8in Differential. It's o-k but What I don't like adout it. When I make a sharp right turn. The right rear wheel will spin. But if I make a sharp left turn it works fine. So I try not to give it too much gas turning right. I called Dana and the guy told me that he never heard of that problem. I find that work to believe. This is why I decided to try the Yukon Differential. So we will see😄

You did nothing wrong just there is easier ways of doing it.
Man. I know this is 2 years old, but I've been wanting to do the same thing on my 66 Galaxie. I appreciate the info.
Time flys,Flys, I have not done much to it since. I guess it's never to late to start on the galaxie
