    i'm pleased to find your video. i wondered why the packs are relatively cheap, its because they dont use prismatic cells imho

    Is it not the case that when cells swell out like this they become highly unstable, in which case I hope they did not go through the postal system, and that you collected them in person. Plus you've made no attempt to protect yourself from what could of been a highpowered firework going off in your home, which would last for hours and no way of putting out!!!!! However luckerly all is well I don't think I would taken that risk, all I was looking to find out is what type of BMS does Pylontech battery Pack use?

    They are pylontech US2000c. with a lux Lux inverter. Never used in anger. I was assured they were plug and play to my system. Plugged them in as master, went away for the weekend. All flat when I got back, I wasnt told there should have been a different comms cable.. I asked for help, but was told no.

      Do you also have us2000b ? If yes put the B in the middle of the 2000c make a B sandwich lol. I believe the me3000sp doesn’t like the C batterys, and eBay are selling the very expensive new cables that are supposed to work.

    What charger can you use on these batteries 48volt without taking them apart? I come across dead batteries at work. Normally a warranty claim.

    • @smartazz
      @smartazz  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’d love to get my hands on more lol.
      So basically yes 48v battery charger will work, you need to test the voltage of the charger and make sure it’s set to the correct voltage. They are made up of 15 x 3.2v cells and each cell can charge up to 3.6v max (so 54v total in my case)
      Hopefully that helps :)
