HondaPro Jason I still enjoy my 1st gen 2008 Sport manual. Wife and kids are embarrassed of me but my 40 year old ass loves it. I initially thought I didn’t like this model as it’s getting too fancy for its own good. But there is nothing as practical, reliable and fun.
@@josephr.bidenjr9908Turbo setup from the previous gen Accord would make it a total rocket! Remember that a similar setup was used in the FK8 Type R Civic!
I have the first gen fit sport, but the front seats aren't comfortable for long trips with thigh and lower back support like you said in your 07 fit test. After sitting in my church friend's 15 fit front seats, they're even comfier then the 09 version. Rear leg room is among best in the subcompact class with only the Versa Note coming close behind. And despite cargo space reducing about 20%, 52.7 cubic feet is hard to beat for something that's not a crossover. So Fiesta, Rio, Accent, and Yaris Hatchbacks, you guys have some work to do to beat this fun and flexible subcompact
Buyer beware! I have had no mechanical problems with my Fit, but the paint and clear coat on the roof of my 2009 Fit is starting to fade into bald spots. Honda has had similar paint problems with the Civic, Odyssey, CRV, and Pilot which have all been recalled. I'm hoping that they will recall the Fit too. Part of the appeal of a Fit is the low cost of ownership, but now I'm looking at a $1000-2000 paint job if Honda does not issue a recall.
Watching the '07, the '09, & now, the '15 model, I can't help but ask myself the question "Is this SMALL car ALL the car that anyone could ever possibly need?!!!"!!!!
+landyachtfan79 As an owner I'll say yes. Big enough for 5 people, 42 mpg(driving smart), smart room, safety pick, easy to park. In the down it will not clime a hill cuz it has no torque, make a lot of noise. So far I'm pretty happy.
Holy crap, I don't want to sound like a dick but I didn't know this guy still exists. I remember watching him on PBS back when I was like 8 or something.

Thomas Devito No, Actually it won't what ford and chysler or ( fiat ) is giving there transmission more gear like the 200 having a 9 speed automatic which gets 36 mpg highway with a 184 tigershark 2.4l inlne 4.
Vegas sevenforseven Exactly. Chrysler has already put it in some of it's products.I think the dart is also gonna get a 9 speed automatic not sure when exactly. Hi had a CVT in an Audi A4 Cabriolet.... way back in the day....that was loud... but let me tell you any mechanic would tell you it is far more reliable then any other transmission out there. I remember this is when you could only get 80k out of a GM tranny or Chrysler, And Honda Automatic transmissions just cant handle the torque.

I am driving a Honda Fit 2015 and I want to know the best way to get an increase in range profile miles. I have been driving 55mph with cruise control for 1 hour. Do I need to do this for a longer time to see an increase in range miles. I am using the Econ Button as well. There are 1 or 2 inclines on the road I am driving on. It’s about a 4 mile stretch of road. The mpg was at 23, now it’s at 24. Thank you.
WHAT?! Ford are the most reliable cars you can buy. Better than Toyota. All their engines have timing chains, not belts, so they never need to be serviced. The only knock against Ford was transmissions in the 00s Taurus and Explorers. But that has been resolved since 2010. Most police depts use the 2010+ Explorer. Tought as nails!! The F15O? best selling car for 30 years. The Mustang? is fastest profuction car under 35k.
Why? I'm pretty sure the Fit is basically a Civic hatch, just like the Honda CR-Z is the coupe version of the Honda Insight. Sure they're different names, but if they sold a Honda Fit sedan version, what would differentiate it against the Civic? And speaking of the Mazda 2, the new 'Hazumi' would probably be the only car right now that would pull me away from this new Fit.
mamba109 You may want to offer the sedan version as an option. The Subcompacts like the Chevy Sonic and Ford Fiesta have a hatch and sedan version. Some people prefer sedans. The same with the compact class with the exception of a few.

A Fit fan for life
Part of motorweek's appeal used to be how thorough they evaluated vehicles. How can you call it a road test and then eliminate the track testing???
They do both separate now
Love my EX Stick with Black Sport Wheels I bought on Facebook Market Place.
wow that 0-60 time is fast!
Give us a ~200hp Si version to rival the fiesta ST?
space in the back is amazing.
What happened to your 0-60 time test and brake distance test?

Okay.
