I have the exact same tractor I bought last summer. Tractor, loader, belly mower, backhoe & snowplow, love this tractor. It does everything I want it to do with ease. My PTO is dead silent, something isn't right with yours. I would go back to the dealer and make him show you the other tractors running, I would bet they are not like that. If you can't get satisfaction, contact Yanmar USA, they are good at helping. Good luck. Going from a geared tractor to a hydrostatic myself, it does take some getting used to. You have to keep your RPM's up and use the foot pedal to control your speed and power.
@@bullboss7698 So the engineers got involved and said its normal on the 2022 and up tractors because they were having pto failures in the earlier models so they installed a pto clutch inside the case and thats whats making the noise and thats why it goes away in higher rpms.
@@MrMelvinkennedy1 Well how about that. Mine is a '21 so I guess it's different. Good to know though. With a 10 yr. warrantee, it doesn't really matter. That's a lot of noise to put up with tho.
I'm glad it's not weak. That pto sounds real bad. Just because there is a few of them doing the same thing. Does not mean Yanmar didn't get a bunch of bad bearings in and they all have the same problem. I would believe mechanic over the sales guy. Hope you get it fixed! Have a good week! See ya!

I can put a ten year warranty on a box of poop but it's still poop. If your wanting a heavy 25 HP tractor, I've seen some solid reviews on the Branson 2515.
I have a brand new SA325 and my pto is silent. I’ve owned numerous tractors over the years and been around many others. Every pto I’ve observed is basically silent. Your tractor has something wrong with it, regardless what the dealership salesperson or owner tells you.
I am going to get the almost exactly same titan tiller on my 424 so how is yours working?All videos I see titan is jumping around would you buy a different setup?
It did jump around unless I barely crawled the first couple passes. It ended up being good but honestly I personally wont buy another tiller for tractor unless im planting large areas. I will buy a walk behind. Im not sure if it was the tractor pto hp or the tiller though. My uncle owns a 35hp and 6 foot tiller and tills with ease and fast which made me buy this one in which i was a bit disappointed
Yes I figured such. I sold this tractor and after the way Southern farm supply sales rep treated me after buying 5 tractors from them I wont use them or yanmar again either

Contact Yanmar and they agreed its not normal and making the dealer take responsibility

what ever happened with the PTO? did it fail on you?
My PTO sounds the same after the first 50hr hydraulic/trans-axle fluid change. It will get quieter as it settles in.
I switched mine to a SSQA
I just test drive a 325 today and the pto did the same thing,

100 percent agree which is why I no longer own that tractor and would never buy another. Sounds like a bad batch of bearings were in assembly process
