I learned a new word today! I always thought a bunting was something you wrapped a baby in, such as a swaddling blanket. I guess I made this association because of the old nursery rhyme "Bye baby bunting, Daddy's gone a hunting... gone to get a rabbit skin to wrap the baby bunting in." You always teach me something new Jayda!

Hi Jayda, I have been trying to make a Granny strawberry dishcloth watching another video...I've ripped out the center about 6 times, & when I get to the 3rd round, it doesn't look like a strawberry at all...& have ripped that out 4 times...then I found your Granny triangle..& guess what? Just watched you 1 time & I completed my first granny triangle...You don't just say 'do this & do that'..You tell us what to do & then you explain why you are doing it...Thank you so much for your well explained videos....You really are the best....Now onto the green top!! :)

Hi Keri, thank you for watching :) I like cotton for out of doors projects, it's hard wearing, it washes well and it generally keeps it's colour...however I did put up a little cotton crocheted 'flag' out front of the house earlier this summer and it has faded quite a bit (that sun can drain the colour out of just about anything!). However, it has stood up to the wind and rain very nicely :)

Yesterday I decided to make another bunting but wanted to try a different one. After 6 attempts at other persons bunting I have now come back to the best. Super easy. I am making an Americana bunting for the Fourth of July to go across my mantle, although I am using acrylic yarn.
Acrylic is just fine too, especially for indoors :)
