Mid way through a vanilla wipe on this base and its absolutely incredible. The roof peaks are -ok-, nothing amazing but the early peaks you get from the triangles even before window embraziers are absolutely incredible and the bedroom retakes are godlike. Behind the bedrooms you can make two triangle chutes so you always have a way back to base even if the front door is being held. The only issue we've had is the triangle roof that separates the front door and the bunkered loot room can be a little difficult to get through when entering the base (no worries when leaving) even with the code lock on the bunker side. Upgrading from stone to metal didn't really help. Love it so far! Thanks mate!
Before the applause, anyone else unable to place the final roof windows on top of the frames after the September 5th force update? That being said, beautiful base. Having a great time building on Bloo Lagoon solo/duo/trio!
If you replace the triangle frame with a square one, and then put the wall frame on the same side as the video, you cant still put the window in and the stone roof stops you from falling down (you do start to drop down, but don't go all the way, you can put a siren down so you can use the peak at more of an angle as well), to make it easier you can put the window in before the roof, otherwise it says line of site blocked and you have to place it from the ground while jumping
love the base builds bro being using the agitator for two wipes now and survived two online attempts one in each wipe any chance you could make a design for a 4 man or bigger group
Very nice looking little base. I like the floor stack ones you have, but it can get a bit annoying to orient them the way i'd like sometimes, this makes it a lot easier. Definitely giving this one a try.
Nice base! But the double bunker has the problem that the raiders have it anyways when raiding the core. But with how limited we are since the offset patch i guess that is what we have to work with
This base is great for official servers but if you play on a 2/3x its horrible at offline raids with no roof turrets if someone takes a mini to roof it’s only a 12 c4 raid top down which will also give them the bunker underneath the roof triangle
The 2nd bunker seems useless given you get it for free if you get core. I'd just build this without it so you can have your t3 downstairs. Otherwise neat little base, will definitely try some variation of it
Love your builds, Ive been trying them recently for solo play. I ran into a problem the window frames at 16:08 just randomly disappeared after logging back in after finishing that floor. Do you know what caused that?
I've built this base many times, but suddenly I can't place the window pieces at 17:15 anymore. Might have something to do with the new feature, where Rust tells you why you can't build in a certain area. Anyone experience this too?
Cool build, but really hard to follow your build tutorial on this one man :( Even with 2k hours and building a lot of custom bases it was hard. Maybe consider top down perspectives when doing layouts and placing foundations. I think it would really raise the quality. You could check out how GameLightz does his top down views. It's super easy to follow! Keep them coming! I love the designs

I’m a bit afraid that during they’ll get control of the shooting floor and thereby also the peaks into the core and airlock. Is this worry justified or am I missing something?
Why do you use low-wall loot rooms? I thought that even with nothing in the way, raiders cannot access the locked boxes anyway since if they are destroyed the inverted ramps prevent them from reaching the fallen stashes. In that case, why not just use a Garage Door? Low-walls allow the raiders to splash more layers at once if they are raiding thru the loot room.
True but it would also give the raiders a direct path into the core if they raid through the bedrooms. Instead they need to spend 8 rockets (even if splashed) to break through. But yes for the drop box section by the front door, the low walls could be removed and you could just use a ramp however you’d need to upgrade the ramp to metal which costs more than the low wall (hence the reason I add the low with the stone ramp) :)
I have just started rust and this guide was great got everything but the peaks built. Would be nice to see the building of the bunker just to get the orientation correct I messed up the second loot room stairs but I don’t have any loot in it any way. Also found I couldn’t upgrade the ramp for my drop boxes not sure if there is a trick to it or not, otherwise as my first time building a proper base this was awesome
I’m glad you enjoyed! For the upgrade in the drop box room, place a small box in front of the low wall and you should be able to reach with the hammer :)
Someone please please please help i built the base and as i am honeycombing i realize theres not enough space the terrain is in the way for a expansion what do i do
The best way is to use raised foundations with half walls on top. If it’s not raised terrain and you just literally can’t place in that area is going to be more difficult but the expansion foundations are needed to make the bunker and floor stacking work. If you haven’t committed to a massive amount of resources I would move or try to make the build out foundations wrap around the base the other way. As long as you get to the same locations in the end

don't you think the bunker could be opened with rocket splash or maybe incendiary rocket, I see that on an another video. Didn't test it myself tho. That will make both bunker useless
for some reason the triangle roof you place for the peak downs the side above my entrance wont place the triangle roof and one side of each of the peeks the back side of the base came out fine i was wondering if there is a stability problem
How do I upgrade my ramp through the two half walls? I am struggling to reach it trying boxes for a different angle, but I can't seem to get it. Anyone help please?
It’s an issue with the square roof price on the lowest level of honeycomb. Essentially when the server restarts sometimes while you’re building the base the roof piece will reset the stability. You can fix and reset the stability by placing a foundation and a wall next to the roof tile on the bottom. (Basically just change any wall around the square roof at the bottom and it should fix the problem)
Yep, it’s all based on the stability of the roof and wall below. Basically when your server restarts sometimes the stability changes for some reason. So you just need to play a wall/foundation next to the honeycomb roof on the bottom and it should update the stability
Had the same problem.. was missing the floor inside honeycomb on the backside of bunkered loot room which kills the stability. @6:41 the floor hes standing on
Might be late to the party, but I am trying to put the windows on the roof that goes on the frames, but it keeps telling me there's, "Not Enough Space," and won't let me put them down over the root tiles. Is it just me doing something wrong or did something get patched?

5:47 should explain :) basically the raid cost doesn’t change regardless of the stone foundations since if someone blows the foundations out the walls will remain in place due to stability from the other walls around :)
@@Zypic Ok thanks for the info I will have to test my future builds and see if I get the same result. That would mean only upgrade raised foundations that they can pass through.
My next video will be also console friendly :) although it is an slightly more expensive base for a solo/duo it’s more of a trio base (but should still be buildable for the two of you if you follow through the steps)

Is this base for the new player? I wouldnt last an hour in this thing. I solo in a base close to 12k stone 12k metal 300hqm on main high pops. If a clan saw me loving in this it would be gone instantly. Wouldnt a meta base be good for both a veteran and new player? This seems like a base maybe for a very conservative paddlers that dont get raided often anyways.
I would normally say no its not for a newer player. But, since I’ve made the base pretty simple to follow and build with the steps as you get more resources, I would say a newer player could do this without issues.
@@Zypic could you last more than a few days in it? I put up alot of ypur bases on off wipes so I'm not saying it doesn't have a place. I've always enjoyed your style of building so don't take it as smack talk. I use an old modified base of yours for the past year or so. I just think the tiny bases maybe shouldn't say meta. Lol. Meta (to me atleast) always ment....meta , as in all around best base for the job. It has niche spots I'm certain. It just doesn't seem like I'd last a day in it.

I was just raided 100+ rockets on rustoria us main day 2 . I only won because I sealed 1 wall deep. If I was in this base , they'd have won in about 20 to 30 mins they where 13 deep. That's why I ask people to kind of be honest on their base builds.

I’d say likely yes if you aren’t building in a super high pop area surrounded by clans this should survive a good few days. The base is mainly designed to defend online raids but the double bunker definitely helps for offlines. I’ve been playing on rustoria main (roughly 600 pop) for the past 3 days using this completed base since I test all my stuff before I post. And so far I haven’t been offlined. One attempted online satchel raid but they didn’t get far. Overall I’d say it depends if you piss off a clan haha.
Unfortunately it seems that this type of bunker doesn’t work on console, nonetheless it’s still strong regardless of the bunker and your door path with garage doors it almost the same as blowing through the wall path.
Heyy no way, me and my teammates play 3x,5x and 10x servers depending what time we hop on because we only usually play 1 day wipes since you usually get offline raided. We play warbandits, rustinity, vital rust and hollows
@@Scav_v probably because I used the commend “/env” which can change the time and environment. I do it for records specifically to make them look more cinematic

it won't let me place either of the triangle spiral stairs for the bunker, I'm play on console, so I guess it's different
ive tested this style of stair bunker on a build server and noticed that twig floor can be splashed through walls because of the fat hitbox

only play modded servers so the bases dont last long on there but watch every building vid you do some excellent bases

Idk if it's just me but on build servers the box doesn't help, I can't upgrade the ramp

100% doesn’t work in Console Rust. I have tried in Custom servers, official and build servers and it doesn’t work.
So question which would you pick the anchor or the agitator v2?
Personally I would choose the agitator 2 since I like more box space. But this base is really good if you want higher offline protection

When I tested this I couldn’t manage to open it with an incendiary rocket / flame thrower
What if raiders get to your bunker and fire rockets down into the core destroying all sleeping bags?
Well your bags are in the 2x1 so it shouldn’t be an option to send a rocket down into the core unless they break the low wall and a garage door

cant seem to get the window frames on one side of the roof to work. when i demo the square floors, it breaks the window frames as well, any tips?

It's difficult to create a strong base for a modded server, I play at 5x, and the raid is very fast, I don't even have time to defend...
