Old-ish dad-gamer here. Never played the game and probably never will. And yet I watch these videos religiously. It's like cross between Planet Earth, Bob Ross, Naked and Afraid, and Mad Max. Straight-up one of my favorite creators on TH-cam. Appreciate the content, Willjum.
I understand it tho. As a dad, games like rust are probably too time consuming as I could imagine
I got 3k hours in the game. Trust me, dont play it. His videos are amazing because he has 10k+ hours and however much he downplays it, hes really good at PvP and reading situations. Rust is fun if you are really, really good or play with someone that is really really good. And even then you have to put 8hours a day into it to even get some progress (because vanilla). You could go into a 2/5/10x boosted loot server but thats just really everyone running around with AK, 50 rockets and 20 c4s so it gets pretty overwhelming too.
Trust me, I love the game but I deeply hate it too because of the state of it. You can farm and progress for 8 hours only to wake up to have been offline raided..

I am the same. I have no interest in playing the game. Being a dad means less time for games so I only play pve games with a few friends on the rare occasion.
His narration is what makes it so special. Just like watching JaWoodle in 7days. The commentary is perfect!

do you know the song that was played at 41:28? I can't find it but I can find 3 songs with the same exact beat but have lyrics over it (this was using a music finder), I looked through some of the music producers he linked but I couldn't really find anything too similar.

It's 8:17pm here in Southern Ontario Canada. This is how I end my night before waking up at 4:30am .. and I'm pumped. As a father I managed to play 3 hours of rust on a 3x server Friday night when the kids fell asleep.

I love watching rust videos from Brazilians like jun1n, recruta, both with different proposals in their videos, but for me their videos are so satisfying, a feeling of peace in the midst of chaos, the way they stay in focus even sometimes things not going as planned, thank you very much for the excellent content.

@@mikebaltzer9369 I actually think there might be a part 2. Did you notice how he narrated that something told him he should stash kits in the 2x1 he raided? I was expecting that to have a pay off at the end, but it wasn't brought up again. Which makes me think there's a part 2 where there's a pay off for that comment.

You are a great part in my first Rust experience this past weekend. I cheesed out and went on a PvE server to get the feel. The server has friendly folks who help eachother out, but are still competitive. Last fee days of wipe will be brutal, PvE. Again, thank you for introducing me to this game and experience!
