I remember some of Zach's old videos, the Boyfriend Tag where we met Alastair for the first time, the wedding, Husband Tag video, etc... You guys have grown and changed so much. Sometimes I miss the young Z and A but you've grown into such fine, young men it's like watching sons grow up. Happy for you both. Love you guys.

Use a Disney travel planner. They take care of practically everything from hotel, food, and ride reservations. They know the earliest times reservations can be made. No cost to you. I know such a planner with tons of experience. Just plan ahead as early as you can.
All the Disney reservations stuff, genie +, lightning passes, etc. feels complicated, but once you figure it out it totally makes sense and you guys will have so much fun! Love you guys!

It is always a treat to watch a new video of your guys’ life journey. I can still remember vividly how hard the deployment was for the both of you last time, the way Zach was feeling sad and lonely in the parking lot hit me so hard. Hope everything goes more smoothly this time around.
I love these guys and I find it disheartening that he will risk his life for the US but will still have to go through BS from people that would not do that for our country. But he is inspiring. Can you imagine how challenging it must be to fight for a country and many people that would just as much wish death on him? What a beautiful, strong and loving MAN. 💖

Disney is way more complicated than when I was young. My dad never made any reservations and spent a lot of time in wait lines.
I know upcoming will be a stressful time during the deployment, but it's the last one and so there's the light! Then you will be able to plan the next step in your lives and that will be exciting. I am so happy for the 2 of you working so hard, keeping your lives on track during all of this change. I hope that we get to still see Alastair on camera as you guys are so good together. You have brought years of joy and happiness to me and hundreds of thousands of others and I wanted to thank you and wish you every happiness and success in your life together. Can't help you with Disney though. You weren't born the last time I was there lol.
Y’all are such a great couple… the love shines through. I would like to hear about your experience / perspective as a dependent spouse of an active duty military member. Y’all a such trailblazers although you might not appreciate it. I’m a Navy vet and I remember life with my late “husband “ although marriage wasn’t a possibility back then. I remember how difficult it was when I was deployed on a surgical team deployment to the West pacific. He had a hard time understanding that I was property of the US Navy and I had no option but to obey my orders as they controlled virtually every aspect of my life.
Yes A has zero control of his deployment or where he is going and Zack may not even be able to know where he's at since that can be classified information depending on the deployment. But from I understand things have gotten a bit better in that they may be able to communicate during the deployment now. What's even better is A doesn't have to hide that he is MARRIED to another dude. Zack gets all the benefits ( and challenges) that comes with that in the military as his legal spouse.
Zach's happiness is overflowing!! His radiant smile was mesmerizing!
Watching this vlog, I didn't feel any sadness but instead pure happiness!
Just laughter & fun, plans ahead while Alistair is on deployment, so cool!

Disney has their own Travel/Booking Agents. Just call them and have them take care of it all for you 😊 Love y’all so much! Been following you since before Alastair 😮
Alastair just asked if they have no kid days at Disney and I loudly cackle laughed and rewound. Soo fun.
Disney requires some planning but once you figure out the system and do it the first day, you'll be good going forward.
- Reserve the park you want to start with, then at 2pm you can take any mode of transportation to the other parks without needing a reservation (skyliner, bus, monorail, boat, even Lyft is great from time to time)
- Staying at a Disney Resort will get you early access to some parks. Don't rush to Galaxy's Edge the morning of Hollywood Studios. If you wait an hour, the rush subsides and you can get on Rise of the Resistance faster that way.
- You have to purchase Genie+ in order to reserve Lightning Lanes. It is an ADDITIONAL charge, on top of your park ticket, which is garbage because it should be included but here we are.
- Lightning Lanes help you bypass the stand-by lines but some can still be a bit of a wait (cough, space mountain, cough).
- Once you reserve a LL, you can't reserve another one for 2 hours OR if you've already used your LL, then you can reserve another.
- You can also skip Genie+ and purchase just a LL. That can be good for Animal Kingdom to ride the Avatar ride if you don't want to do Expedition Everest.
- Mobile order all of your food if you're not doing a sit down restaurant meal. It's so convenient and the only way to do it anymore unless you want to stand in a huuuuge line. You can even do breakfast in the morning at the hotels via mobile order. We would order and then hit "we're here" as we exited our hotel room and it would be waiting for us when we got to the hotel restaurant.
Park suggestions:
MAGIC KINGDOM - always first thing in the morning, you can knock out a bunch of rides in the am. Start in Fantasyland before the rush of kids take over the place around 10am.
HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS - go in for the magic hour early morning but don't rush to Rise of the Resistance, let the initial crush subside and go back after an hour, it's usually a shorter wait.
ANIMAL KINGDOM - the safari is a little better a little later in the morning before it gets too hot (depending on time of year) but you'll want ot go back at night to see Avatar Land all glowy. But there's little hope of getting a LL for the Avatar ride if you just go in the park late in the day which is why you have to come back later some day.
EPCOT - Dated and I could skip all together except the Guardians of the Galaxy ride is awesome. Pay for the LL. I did the dinner at Space 220. I felt it was overpriced for what it is. If Allastair wants to do the countries, then it'll be worth it for you.

Hi guys. The great TH-cam gods put AZB (and Alastair) into my "Recommended" feed about a month ago, and I've been a fan ever since. Sometimes I'll watch a video the algorithm randomly puts into my feed, and sometimes I'll browse through the channel videos and watch something that strikes my interest/curiosity. Either way, it's great to enjoy what you share of your lives, and I really love seeing a pair of regular guys who happen to be gay and very much in love. Thank you for sharing the ups and downs - I was heartbroken when I stumbled across the RIP Bronson video, and the quiet moments of you guys in bed together at the end of "Making a Move" was just beautiful. Thanks for your channel, keep sharing and loving, and I wish you guys continued happiness and success together.

Let someone else plan Disney for you!! There are some fantastic Disney travel planners. You tell them what you want to do, what you need and they ask all the right questions and set it all up for you!! All you have to do is show up and have a blast ❤

Another great vid. 1 last (albeit long) deployment and then NYC! You've got this, guys! I'm also a big (40 year old) Disney fan and have never been to Disneyland even though it was a major childhood dream. A few years ago, I came to the painful realization that my window of opportunity to visit (and enjoy) the park sadly closed decades ago. Much like Alastair, the prospect of being surrounded by so many kids pumped full of sugar all day for multiple days is very daunting and I highly doubt the park has kid-free days. (😂). I think taking kids is the only way to enjoy the experience as an adult - vicariously through them. I'm not having kids (or taking anyone else's) so I'm happy to live vicariously through your experience. At least you'll have each other's backs in the queues. 😁 I hope it lives up to the whimsical VHS commercials of childhood and is well worth all the stress & red tape of the booking process. Take lots of video and experience the magic of the happiest place on earth! Your #1 Zambian fan.

I've never been to Disney and this pre-planning makes it sound like I never will. 😂
People tend to overcomplicate it. It doesn't really have to be that hard. It's easy to book a hotel off property that's close (and a lot cheaper). Tons of hotels within 5 miles. Just buy your park pass you're good.
Wow it is so different. Went years ago , had to be 30 years ago. You just went to wherever you wanted at what time you wanted. Disney World was great , experience but worth every dime my dad spent for 9 of us. We were also on Disney cruise as parts of our trip
Use a travel agent, their services don't cost you anything and it's a huge stress relief to have someone on your side to help you figure out hotels, park reservations, restaurants and how genie+. I was getting really stressed out trying to figure all the Disney stuff out when planning our first trip to Disney World. I read travel books, watched a ton of videos, and only got more stressed out until I reached out to our travel agent. She got everything all sorted out easily with hotels, she got up early and made all the reservations including building lightsabers. One last thing, Space 220, there is the dining room which is a prix fix menu and then there is the lounge which is a la carte, you need reservations for both and both have the same experience simulating going to space just look at the menus to decide which is better for you to do.
If you guys do build lightsabers and or droids, you can ship them home from the droid depot.

In my younger years there was a program at Fort Bliss where you could buy tickets for just about anything at a discounted price. That's how my parents a family of 10 went to Disneyland. Also Cattlemens Steakhouse is beyond great, just a long ass drive to get there.
Yea, a major vacation like Disney World takes time to plan and reserve, like a few weeks. Not something you would just do over dinner. A Super HOOAH to Captain Alastair. I hope you both can meet up in Europe for your mid tour break. As always, be safe.
It’s always a privilege to spend time with you guys thanks, I assume we will see Alastair before deployment. When you do Europe spend at least two weeks so u have time to get the feel of it. Zach we will be here with you and for you during Alastair’s deployment, just keep us involved. Alastair we will all be missing you, through Zach. I would suggest buying the Park Hopper option. It’s a little more than a regular ticket but it allows you to go to more than one park in one day. Also, Disney Springs is a nice date night option. They have a bunch of restaurants, shops, and entertainment
It's never been that difficult to have anything booked at Disney. But I'm talking of, like close to 18 years ago.
the biggest advice i can give is any rides/nice restaurants you want to go on/to do it during the weekdays(M,T,W,R). save any store shopping/looking around for the weekends. youll have a much better experience in terms of lines.
also mobile food order is your best friend. you can order a day in advance so you can plan when you pick up some more basic food options in the park.
Disney use to be easy to go to. Now , You need an advanced degree to book your hotel & park stay, and restaurants.
It’s become a part time job, to take a vacation to Disney World.
The Brown Derby ( at Hollywood Studios) is a great restaurant. You can buy the ears at the parks.
Stay strong Zac ( during his deployment). Throw yourself into TH-cam , that will help distract you ( hopefully).

Geeze, if it's that difficult to organise a holiday I'd skip it and find something easier. Getting stressed out like that does not bode well for an enjoyable holiday. You'll have to have another holiday to get over the stress of this one. Keep it simple guys, but I hope you have a great time anyway.

Ride Cosmic Rewind at Epcot, Stay at Coronado Springs Resort Tower room, Spend one night after Epcot at JellyRolls.
We (my partner and I) are going to DisneyWorld for Halloween and I am SO glad that we booked for that far in the future! I would only imagine that planning a wedding would be easier! Reservations for EVERYTHING!

Sleep in one of the resorts. All music, all sports resorts, all movie resorts. And they have shuttles go to all rides.
I know there are several Disney vloggers out there on TH-cam, and I’m sure some of them have some very useful information. I do certainly get the impression that a fair amount of planning ahead makes things run more smoothly. I saw one video about the Sci Fi Diner, and it looks like quite the experience, though, as with most food at Disney, pretty expensive.
Cattleman’s is great! I know you all love NYC, but I’m surprised you all haven’t been to LA, from El Paso it’s not a long flight.
I could never plan every aspect of my trip like that. My sister does a lot of cruises and vacation packages. We went on one together and she was making plans for everything we were going to do long before we left. Didn’t leave much room for being spontaneous, but in other ways it worked out. We don’t travel the same way, so let’s just say, it had it’s moments 😆 Good luck and best wishes to you both on the deployment. Not much you can do about it other than ride it out and look forward to the homecoming. Keep making videos Zac, you are great at it.

Deployment is all about training and that comes with experience with all the training so there ya go training or the experience if i went back in the Marines i would prefer training then comes experience , just be careful and be aware of your surroundings capt and Zach it's just a very short time to look inside of you to see what you can build up on so you can be more a sure of your self , GOD BLESS Y'ALL BOYS LOVE THE VIDEOS AND WHAT'S GOING ON IN YOUR LIFE'S , THIS IS BRUCE THE VET. You'll be ok. Take it one day at a time, and remember to breathe.
Best rule of thumb for Disney is just go and enjoy the park. Save yourself tons of money and just eat at the local places. Some of the higher priced restaurants aren't worth the money. Just schedule yourself for litesavers

Disney sounds like very hard work for a holiday! It wasn’t like that in the 90s, thank Dog, when my boys were 9 & 11. For fewer kids you have to go when schools aren’t out; worldwide probably… 9 months- 🤯 Commiserations. How much longer before you’re out, Alec?
Use a travel agent for any trips to Disney. They are super helpful.
Disney is the biggest hassle. Good Luck. I did laugh listening to Zach & big gravely voice talking so excitedly about Disney 😂 definitely get genie pass so you can cherry pick rides you want no wait on.
There are a lot of people on YT who vlog about all things Disney. I am sure they could give you some good ideas and info.
Tip: The most rabid Disney adults on YT are Chris and Clay. Broadway performing husbands in NYC. Follow them for info on your Disney trip and your future move to the city. Zach w/o ball cap at the steakhouse looking so handsome with that brilliant black hair glistening. Always looks better when you ditch the hat.
I think I've seen those guys on YT before. Can't deal with the Broadway tunes and Disney obsessions! Everything in moderation

Use a travel agent for the booking. They have forms so you can just fill in all the attractions and events. At the 60 day mark, they send in the complete electronically filled forms all at once.

It would make good sense to use a Disney specific travel agent. It costs you nothing, but they will take care of everything. Disney is not a sprint, it's a marathon! For real!
I know a ton about Disney, but if you use a travel agent, they go online and stay on hold on the phone for you, and know what to ask for. They could also find great Dining reservations if some of your first choices are not available.
Welcome to Disney vacation planning. No such thing as spontaneity anymore. Everything has to be planned well in advance unless you want to pay through the nose. Then again, you it’s cheaper to rent a villa over the water in Bora Bora for a week than it is to vacation at Walt Disney World. People become so stressed out booking their trip that they can’t really even enjoy it. And the planning doesn’t stop either. Even when you are there you are still constantly on your phone trying to make reservations for the next ride. What’s that? Yes, you’ll have to book ride times as well.
FYI: Fireworks aren’t until 9pm now. I live behind magic kingdom.

As for Disney, go to California. Florida & DeSantis don't want gay people there anyway. Disney is way too expensive. I love that Zach said 'We could have gone to Europe', where you could go to Paris Disney. I'm happy for you both that you worked through the issues in your marriage and are feeling that things are back on track. Marriage is full of ups and downs. Please continue to work on things together. You're going to love and grow together. Allistair, be safe on your deployment.

Disney can be a pain, and Genie+ can be an issue, but once you get the hang of it, it does make your life easier.
If you want information about the Disney Parks get in touch with U-tuber Justin Scarred. He lived right across the street from Disneyland in California. He is a Disney historian as well as other parks also. He can tell you all you need to know about Disneyland and Disney World and Knotts Berry Farm and many other local spots. He is an interesting person.

My fav hotel in Disney is the grand Floridian & the Polynesian resort fav restaurant is a must Victoria & Alberts at the grand Floridian amazing dinner !!
