- The fabulous Joseph and Hannah join me once again, this time to chat about (amongst other things) their new Banquet for Fools game. These are some of my favorite devs, and it's always a great time when they drop in. Check out their game here:

Hey Matt! Thanks for having us on!
Thank you all for chatting with Matt
This looks great. I'm holding out for a GoG release too. If anyone is curious, their first game "Serpent in the Staglands," is on sale at GoG right now.
I love all three of you! I just bought myself a copy of this game and cannot wait to see how it will ultimately turn out. Thank you so much for this interview and overview of the game!
Edit - Did Joseph mention playing Tactics Ogre?! My God that game is a masterpiece! I tend to prefer 'Western' CRPGs but that game is truly special.
Love Joe and Hannah and their games, such a great mix of gameplay and art
Really cool devs, really cool rpg ❤
Edit: Matt's cool too I guess
Awesome! Great to see Hannah and Joe back on Matt Chat again. I've been eagerly anticipating this game since it was first announced on their SitS website way back when. Exciting! :)
Cheers
Looks great and it's on the Mac, too! Awesome!
Oooooh! Thank you Matt!
So very few games makes me perk up those days, but this one... This one is something else and definitely promising. I have yet to be disappointed by their games, so my hopes are soaring high right now!
Thanks again for having Hannah and Joseph over, and bringing their new game to my attention (I'm really terrible at being up to date with what's new in the industry, even when it's about my favourite studios).
I love that game, such a unique gem. I played most of the early-access content and now I can't wait for the full version :)
Such a wholesome review. I really like the devs mindset, it's clear they have passion and played the games I grew up with.
Very unique world and visual style, which alone already makes it one of my favorites. Some chiseling needed regarding some bugs and balance, but yeah, the art style just blows my mind.
ah the traditional matt chat for these two's new game. yay. May i say, banquet for fools seems like their most ambitious game yet.
I did not expect Parasite Eve call out. I really liked all parts of that game. This game sounds awesome!
amazing. Will be purchasing later today
This video makes me...feel like a Fool, but I like it! Glad to see J&H back in the game! :D
Wow, sounds like a cool game! Hitting all the right notes for me. Everything they said has the philosohy for gameplay/gaming that I wish became more of the standard, as opposed to what the gaming industry mostly evolved into
+1 for GoG and/or direct sale. Also if there isn't a Linux native, I hope it works through Proton. My computers are running Linux.
Already running pretty well through Proton! Been running it on Fedora Workstation 40 and it works good :)
@@Theinvalidmusicgreat news!
Hope it comes to GOG
Any relation to THE Roberta Williams?
No.
I don’t understand how Alex can be so obtuse
😜
What about releasing the source code of Mechajammer?
The Unity scripts for Mechajammer have been decompiled for a while, so _technically_ the source code is there for people to poke at. I doubt Modern Wolf would sanction an official release, mind you.
Gonna check this one out since its not turned based. I cannot stand turn based.
