Do you have trans videos on minitrail 50
Yes: howtomotorcyclerepair.com/z50enginerebuild/
I usually poor a little oil in with the plug out to help flush the rest of the dirty oil
Could I use synthetic oil on a Z50A?
Sure, use motorcycle rated oil.
I do the same with mine. they also take used coolant if it isn't mixed with oil
What do you do with the used oil?
Is using 2 stroke motorcycle oil important? what is the difference? can regular 10w40 motor oil be used? thanks for the video
The Z50, XR50, and CRF50 are fourstroke. You want to use fourstroke motorcycle specific oil, because normal car engine oil has friction modifiers which will cause the clutch in motorcycles to slip and eventually wear out. hope this helps
Do not use two stroke oil in place of four stroke oil. Two stroke engines burn the oil with the gas. Totally different oil.
Yes, I do that also on engines that have really dirty oil.
Thanks for the channel you saved me so much money
The Z50 service manual says that the oil strainer should be cleaned every time the oil is replaced.
I never mix unlike fluids, they throw a fit over that :)
On and Off Socket Wrench? Honestly... Do you have any mechanical training whatsoever?
You'd be surprised how many people get mixed up and tighten the bolt and blow the threads out. See it all the time.
Any videos or links to show how to clean the oil screen on these bikes? Since they don't have a filter
+Clinton Neuner Well I do have the full engine rebuild here: th-cam.com/video/iMzex6Ffqh0/w-d-xo.html
Autozone or jiffylube will take the used oil for free. I transport/store in milk jugs.
Does anybody know what z50r takes (oil)
Less than a quart. Use the dipstick.
Great, that is the channels purpose.
I found in my garage and don't know what kind of oil it takes
