Ive been following Korean cinema for over twenty years, this was an awesome breakdown of it and i even learned a lot of new stuff. Your presentation and narration are really great. Just the right amount of funny editing with semi-serious narration. Well done, my friend 👍🏻👍🏻

Before COVID-19, Hollywood's glut of "superhero" movies did not appeal to me. So I discovered K-cinema -- "Keys to the Heart", "In Our Prime", and "1987: When the Day Comes". Interesting, years ago, the North Korean dictator saw "RASHOMON" and wanted NK to become a cinema powerhouse. 70 years later, South Korea has done it !

Actually the big novelty about Gangnam Style was that it was S Korean. We all thought that was cool and fascinating

22:20 Parasite, directed by Bong Joonho.
Yes. Parasite was good, but many will argue (including me) that Bong Joonho's best film was Memories of Murder. It's a crime thriller based on the true story of Korea's first serial killer that remained unsolved until a few years ago via DNA testing.
BTW, great job on this video. It was very good.
