I used to have that same bike. Mine was a 1980. Fastest GPS recorded speed I got out of it was around 68-70MPH on a slight downhill grade with my head tucked down. I sure miss that bike. Hearing the familiar 2-stroke sound of yours puts a smile on my face again.
Forks are not PE , looks like an RM more than a PE with the 1979 RM rear fender. Maybe an RS 175. It literally has no PE parts on it including rear shocks , seat, no number plate, or rear fender with light. Im guessing this is a RS 175 ( they made small amount that were cross between PE and RM) Look em up. Either that or it's a seriously beat PE .....none the less , great little video
Some things are worth my time and some aren't, bike was bought for a purpose, it's purpose had passed, onto the next, speaking of things not worth my time, almost can't believe I'm responding this negative ass comment.

I guessed 67 for the first run....came dang close on the second run! Keep it going man! Love what you are doing.
Haha very close guess, thanks for watching!
Pretty cool old bikes. Did you ever figure out your T-Cat?
@@trudge84 haven't looked at it yet. Too much on the go haha. I'll get to er eventually and she'll be ready for next season
Im thinking about swapping the motor from one of these into my Chinese 250 frame u think it’ll make it go fastishh
Tie up that throttle cable
That will potentially get you maimed doing some woods riding
Nice bike though and sounds strong
Can't wait for cheap bike challenge! Curious to see what everyone else brings.

Not to bad if it's mint mint
5 is probably the best gear for top speed runs. 6 is probably too tall for top speed maybe

Damn I guess 62 at first 😒
How you gonna call yourself a "tuner" when you ride a bike that cant even wind out its own transmission?
