What about the right of communities to defend themselves, when their governments can't protect them. We don't need to look beyond Chicago, to see where crime is out of control. While certain militias my need to be monitored by law enforcement, others may be a backup to law enforcement. If Democrats want to pass laws against communities preparing to defend themselves, then they need to look at what necessitates this issue: Open borders, defunded police, low police morale, decriminalized criminal activity, no cash bail, early prison release, inflation, job layoffs, inflation caused by foreign energy dependence, etc..
