I switch to full HP, when I feel too lazy to crouch in stealth, manage food buffs and so on. I've got full set of overeater's solar armor and when I combine it with healing factor mutation, I don't need stimpacks or born survivor to stay alive. You've got arguably better perk point economy with full HP and you can put more utility cards to your build. Gameplay itself changes from Fallout to CoD.
Yeah I tend to do a COD like build for quick run and gun.
The amusing thing in our household is that when my wife and I first tried bloodied, there was a bit of a knack to it we needed to get used to (much dying). Once we did, I experiment back and forth with different builds and so vacillate between bloodied and F.H. My wife, on the other hand, there's no getting her to to back to F.H. for anything! She's a hoarder, so she's locked in to her carnivore alcohol- and drug-addicted bloodied build.
Full health is the end game build. I’m Level 900. My Legendary Perks are maxed out. Four SPECIALs, Funky Duds, and What Rads. I don’t need XP really. The dailies and weeklies are enough to finish the Scoreboard every season by playing for maybe 1 hour a day for a few weeks. I have 5 load outs. Rifles (auto or semi, doesn’t matter), Pistols (ditto), Shotguns, Heavy, Melee. Probably need to make a Bow/Explosives build next. My dream Armor is Secret Service gear with 1 Life Saving, 1 Auto-Stim, 3 Weightless all with Poison Resist and Weapon Weight Reduction, but I’ll probably try dropping Funky Duds for Electric Absorption as soon as I put together a set of modded out Union PA to handle Poisoned mutations. Not soloing bosses with my builds, but I easily clear any area I want and do fine in Events.

Bloodied elitists know deep down they want power armor. I just came back to the game after a few years, and I'm going for full health power armor. Got to lvl 200 in 3 weeks speedrunning the game. Had a lot of time to think about it, enjoy your bloodied builds nerds. Maybe I will revive you.😂
I started playing this since the show dropped. Had to go bloodied and Unyielding. Quite annoying but I am trying to Rush levels to get perk coins.

I hate bloodied and VATS. Neither makes much sense the way they are implemented. With a dedicated Autoaxe build and the appropriate buffs, you should be able to solo all bosses. It will take you longer, but it should be doable.
I decided to do a bloodied build but then got a 3 start chest peice that passively regened rad and have been full health since. Rnjesus is a funny lord.
Just found this. Thank you for this. Returning after a long time and bad at build crafting anything not power armor. This is the first full health I’ve seen that uses any weight management. And I’m a hoarder.
Honestly full-health stealth commando is incredibly good. After running with bloodied build for years it’s very refreshing to have the effortless survivability that a proper full health build offers. Overeaters will make you so tanky and the damage difference between bloodied and full health is just not even that crazy. Like the video states it’s just the loss of all of the unyielding effects that’s the worse part.
I had a bloodied build years ago when it was unknown and people would always offer me radaways because they didn't know why my health bar was always so full of rads. Since the damage nerf/switch to additive I went full health.
I can face tank anything in this game in a full set of Overeater Union Armor. Robots in silos, anglers, and imposter sheepsquach are no longer threats. 5 piece weapons weight reduction allows me to carry all my weapons and grenades; between the ammo converter and using my stash mostly for storing junk items, I don't even need Fallout 1st anymore for inventory management. I can also probably run 5 legendary SPECIALs (keeping only Taking One for the Team) for extra stats and perks with no real downsides.
About the only things Unyielding build is good for are solo and exp farming, which are not the reasons I play this game. It also feels more natural and lore fitting to play as a tanky Power Armor user for end game contents. I'm fine with Unyielding's damage but its ability to power level at insane speed probably deserve a nerf.
What does power level mean?
I know most people think full health is trash for damage, but it is all about how you make your character. I have a PA full health slugger build and one powerattack to the queen does around 800-1000 damage and I oneshot 95% of the other enemies in the game
Id actually like to know more about your build if you are willing to share that info. Ive been working on a transition from bloodied unarmed thorn/one punch PA to full health PA slugger and im finding it a bit different than before i became addicted to being bloodied. Cheers!

I second the above! I'm a PA Melee kind of guy, and I hate low-health management.
I like to charge in. Smack some enemies around and take face-tank everything. Trying to optimize right now, haven't touched this game in a few years, so I'm getting back into the swing of things.
@@priest148 I would say the most important thing is food buffs, they make or break your damage. Other than that, if you have a decent roll on your weapon (more PA damage is most important due to it being multiplicative increase) and are using the damage perks you should be good to go :) Try to get food buffs that boost your strength and melee damage!

i have never understood the low damage arguments, im not extremely amazing at the game, and i dont follow the most op builds, and even with my subpar build, im still 1, 2, or 3 shotting 95% of enemies, sure im not going overkill like some other builds, but i get the job done pretty well, and havent really struggled once
The argument isn't so much about damage nowadays, but about XP gains from low health builds.
Yeah the game is pretty easy. I played a bloodied build for a couple of months just to quickly level up one of my characters but couldn't care less about the extra damage that build gives a player.
Vanguard is definitely not useless if you want to just stack resists but I still agree it's not better than the ones you mentioned before it
is your fixer mod the AA explosive and perception mod build still can solo expedition (the two brother boss fight) these days??
My dude forgot that the one big reason to use the Overeaters armor is the daily ops where the enemies deal damage that ignores your armor's resistances.
Haha. I'm going to play devil's advocate. This is a extremely easy game. The game doesn't challenge the player enough to justify managing your radiation level and health.
Eh, you don’t need to manage radiation levels pretty much at all. If you find yourself needing to you’re just playing wrong
You will find it challenging when you want to farm xp or scoreboard fast and you will find it challenged when you want to do critical dmg every other shot without managing temporary buff! If you want to solo bosses without too many buffs like Earle and SBQ so you can grind Treasury Notes fast Solo if needed in emergency you will find it challenging! So, it depends I was full health player now I am on bloodied team with full set of unyielding SS and believe me managing rads is way easier then managing about other things I mentioned
Im playing bloodied because the game is too easy. To top that off im running a heavy gun/commando build with minimal survivability perks 😂
It forces you to seek cover and kill the enemy before they 2-3 shot you. Depending on s has never been more important with a glass cannon build!
So... Basically, you agree that the game isn't challenging, but the *grind* is challenging?
I mean... It wouldn't be a grind if it didn't "challenge [read: bore you to fucking tears doing the same bloody thing over and over and over again]" you.
Or just roleplay as a specific character.
I've got two that I use when I'm bored and just want to have a laugh: one is a hillbilly big game hunter who can only use shotguns, revolvers and muskets, who also isn't allowed to join teams or fast travel and has to set up a tent camp every time he needs to log off, and the other is Chef Excellence, who's only allowed to use cooking utensils and molotovs, and his camp has to be a cafe and he's only allowed to sell food, drinks and recipes.
I'm hoping if I spend enough time dicing around making life difficult for myself while looking absurd, eventually more players will start role-playing as well, rather than just chasing levels and loot.

I’ve got full set of secret service but is only giving me a 265 damage resistence - why?
I played bloodied for the most part until everyone and their dog was playing bloodied. Now i play PA Shredder with overeater Excavator 500+ carryweight (i still have the bloodied mutation and emergency Protokolls) so if i want my damage goes up until i pop a Stim. I never die, can tank everything and everything dies in seconds + no Ammo needed. Earle takes me 4-6 Minutes solo with no prebuffing (as overeater i am allways running good food but nothing compilcated) - which is not super fast but super chilled.
How good is this build on pvp? And also why do you have bloodied because of your weapon?

OE with sential, get your luck at 24 and use 15crit charge as your 3rd star on something with fast fire rate, herbivore mutation and live off blight soup, run 1 vampires for encryptid etc.
No matter what my full health builds is not comparable to bloodied. Bloodied is the best in game all around. FO76 needs some massive improvement on perks etc..
not comparable? if you cannot do certain events or even just go to certain areas just because of rads, thats a BIG issue in my book. seeing damn near a whole server go empty during fasnacht just because of a nuke was hilarious.

I saw Adrenalin Reaction, Bird Bones, Eagle Eyes, Egg Head, Herbivore, Marupial, Scaly Skin, Speed Demon and Talons in the Menu at 1.31. Am I missing something?
I have a full bloodied build and i just found out that my be fixer does 15 more dmg points than my 300% ammo explosive fixer, im so sad game is still bugged like this to this day
I prefer full health over bloodied just because it does not die... i dont need to swap out gear just because i go to a radiated zone, i dont need to make excuses for rad rumble. nuked fasnacht? no problem. mutants took out the rad scrubber? no problem, i can run up there to fix it. i can play the game pretty much on autopilot as a FH build, and once all the action is done, just stop for a few seconds and any missing health will have been restored by healing factor.
"I'm in brotherhood armor, the enclave is going to kill me." Nah fam, we know you just playing double agent for the real good guys.

Trigger warning..... full health overeaters pa with vampires auto axe in union pa with sizzling style ghoulish what rads equals laugh at all enemies including earle and sbq hold attack for 2 min at a time and just casually walk through everything .... also no ammo use ever no death ever i havent died in over a year in anything including armor piercing explodes on death daily ops

I: makeshift warrior 5, stable tools 3, science 2, expert science 2, master science 2
A: action boy/girl 3, thru hiker 1, adrenaline 5
L: bloody mess 3, ricochet 3, class freak 3, luck of the draw 2 optional :good with salt 3 and swap luck of the draw for starched jeans 2 for radiation rumble if needed
Do not use rad showers without starched jeans equipped or you will mess up mutations

Union PA is key for poison resist and carry weight.... all pieces need to be overeaters and if you can get sentinels as secondary for earle and sbq for more tankiness
You have room to easily swap around a few things if needed for play style but this has worked really good since union pa was released
Weapons:
Above set up relies on auto axe vampires plus 40%power attack damage str is best for 3rd star and use the electric mod for auto axe ...
Optional:
Chainsaw with same roll as auto axe v plus40 with flaming dual bar use friendly fire to heal team or objective allies
If running west tek for xp to finish scoreboard use max inteligence and move points around either endurance or luck and use steeped fever blossom tea, 4 lunchboxes, brain bombs and cranberry relish plus sleep and the camp horse race thing for int bonus and season can be done in about 20 days or less but swap back to above for more dps when scoreboard is done basically tyr and turtle have covered the builds before but this is a little bit different and suits my style no ammo needed but new things have happened get a syringer with endangerol mod pop bosses then attack with auto melee and they fall much faster .... this is not a high dps build but auto melee makes it a cake walk .... i am rank 658 btw so build what you can as you can you will get there if you arent already
@@raul-km6mq crap forgot a key thing .... optimized bracers on arms and torso use kinetic dynamo it helps with ap for attacking i cannhold attack for around 2 minutes non stop

@@JohnB-mo4kq It's a custom world on 1st. You can set it to no cost for crafting. That includes legendaries.
