- What's up everyone! Today we made a custom exhaust for the Mazda B2000. In a previous video we managed to install a pacesetter header, and it was way too loud on its own. Now that we have a full exhaust on it, it sounds so good!

13:24 those JDM style mirrors are looking GOOD. Nice placement
Gentlemen, you have sort of defeated the purpose of adding a header. The header exit is 2.25". You have added a 1.75" pipe behind it. Um... restriction? Then you go up to a 2" then to a 2.25 muff. (??)
I would have suggested having a muff shop bending you a full 2.25" system from the header to the tailpipe.
I had one done to mine, with the Weber, I knocked a full second off the 1320 time at the track. It is quiet until you stand on it.
The shop used a straight thru truck type muffler that has the same dimensions as a stocker.
BTW, look up tests on YT for back pressure. Any one who says you need back pressure doesn't know what they are talking about.
Oh well...
Nice. I have recently installed an stainless steel header and it’s connected to the existing exhaust pipe. Did you have to use a reducer from the end of the header to the 2.5” pipe out? Your help is well appreciate it.
It seems the extra exhaust can was a thing to get them us legal, my 91 2600 had an extra can that looked identical to that one
what a grate channel, better that those ones without any car (been about cars) that just shows girls and expensive exotic cars that no body can achieve
Amazing as always!!
bryan neira did you guys notice a power change?
Sun duda vas muy bien en esa conversion adelante brother saludos desde mexico nunca me pierdo tus videos
Sounds great with the Magna Flow! Nice job!
I’m currently redoing my rusted out exhaust right now as well
Wish I could weld so I could just do it my own way. Oh did you find the pipe clamps at autozone or something? I need some too! Haha
Thanks! We did end up finding the clamps at Autozone.
Where did you get the intermediate pipe
We found it on eBay. Just search for b2000 exhaust intermediate pipe.
Sounds rad. Any chance you remember the model muffler you used? Thanks
Thanks! It was an off the shelf Magnaflow muffler from Autozone. I believe the part number on the receipt was 11226.
Abnormal Garage Awesome. Thanks dude. Sorry to hear about the garage situation, hope it all works out.
Did yall have any issues with the co2 sensor? I haven't watched the video or seen any others, didn't know if the truck was carburated with the computer or had a weber carb. I want to straight pipe my 92 b2200 but I'm not sure if it will bother the co2 sensor in the manifold
We were running a Weber carb and a pacesetter header. Didn’t have any check engines lights or issues with the o2 sensors. Just had the EGR light pop on from when we deleted it when installing the carburetor.
Where did Luke get the exhaust parts he ordered?
It was on eBay. I'm not sure if it's still available anymore. You'll have to search for b2200 intermediate exhaust pipe.
good thing hes wearing an Iowa hoodie!
Can you please tell me what size pipe sections after the intermediate pipe?
2"
@@AbnormalGarage thanks alot. Your videos help me alot on my 87 b2200 build.
Would Luke recommend me buying a 92 Mazda b series?

Do you know the model number for the magnaflow ?
I believe the model number was 11226
@@AbnormalGarage thanks alot for the response.
what did you do with your old mirrors? want to sell them?
I think we got rid of them already.
@@AbnormalGarage I am picking up a free 1990 2600 4x4 this afternoon. Been sitting 6-8 years. 2 motors, 1 bad head. So I will be trying to piece together a good lightweight hunting truck. My club requires all hunting vehicles to be on ATV tires. Most guys run CRV'S but I wanted a truck.
That's awesome, good luck with building it!!
Nice
Did you guys notice a power increase?
Maybe a little bit, nothing too crazy. Just cleaned up all the emissions in the engine bay from the factory exhaust, and gave it a overall better sound.
Show my minitruck b2200
It’s called an exhaust clamp and exhaust tip smfh 😂
Sound like shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
