- Welcome back to the channel, Natasha and I head off on a friday to the central tablelands of nsw , we venture into the Abercrombie river national park and find ourselves a great campsite, we are joined in the evening by Josh from @resetadventures and some of his friends arrive the next day, Woody in the ford ranger and Mocco in the triton.

thats a pretty remote spot in there, lots off off road driving. the beach is a good camp spot.
Haven’t been to the beach in about 15 years, we never went past it on this trip.

Hey Shad great vid, just came back from a trip myself at the mighty Murray river, your mates roast looked 10/10 he put a lot of time and effort into it. I noticed you are still using the 3 panel fire break what's the go as you had the 4 for a while. Can you give us the pro's and con's between the 3 and 4 panel.
Hey mate, hope you trip was good, josh’s pork belly burnt ends were absolutely amazing.
As for the ozbarrier, they have lent me a 3 panel to try and see what i think, still to early for me to decide as I really like the 4 panel.
So the 4 panel (4mm) is 15kg and the 3panel (3mm) is 7.5 kg so a fair bit lighter.
Yeah so its really personal preference.
Maybe I should do a video on this , what do you think ?
Hi Shad thanks for the reply 15kg is quite some weight and at the end of the day if your getting the same result as with a 3 panel with a little less coverage at 1/2 the weight, just as long as the 3mm panels aren't buckling in the heat I know what id be buying. I looked at the price of the 4 panel after one of your videos and they weren't cheap but a poor man always pays twice.
@@peterguertler2752 yeah 3 panel makes sense, they do not buckle if you have the correct spacing ( obviously don’t have it in the fire) . Its definitely becoming a handy thing to have .
Another great vdeo, Chad. You really know how to make a man jealous.....PS. i note you dont have a Hema hanging off the windscreen. Which mapping do you use to find these great spots?
No, i gave up on those hema things years ago. I use an app on my phone called giai gps . Sometimes I don’t even use that, i just drive around looking for tracks 😂😂. Josh put us onto this spot but the only way to find some new spots is to drive the lesser driven or known tracks , most of the time it doesn’t work out and you end up with heaps of scratches but sometimes it pays off

Thats an ozbarrier, i have put a link in the video description to there website, yes it does throw the heat back and its really nice to have that extra warmth in the cooler nights.
It may have been answered before but I have not been able to find it. Where can I buy the fire screen you use? I want one to deflect the heat to where we are sitting. Looks like yours folds flat, does it come with a canvas bag?

What camera gear do you use for shots at camp
Most of the time sony a6300 , some gopro shots in there too . Night lapse is gopro as well
6:48 how do you do the time lapse, is it just photos set at certain times?
Hi There, thanks for watching. The time lapse is simply a gopro 9 set on night lapse and i run it till the battery goes flat 👍👍.
