- Visiting the Ngorongoro Crater was a part of our 4-day safari tour in Tanzania. And it was definitely one of the best parts!
Started very early in the morning we got an unforgettable game drive experience.
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area protects the volcanically formed Crater Highlands, is the world’s largest intact caldera, and a natural wildlife reserve with animals living there.
It is also notable for the spectacular scenic combination of the verdant plains of the lake-studded crater floor and imposing crater walls that enclose it on all sides.
In Ngorongoro you have a chance of spotting all the Big Five of Africa: lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino.
Travels have some difficulties in 2021 during the covid pandemia, but bright emotions are worth it.

Посещение кратера Нгоронгоро было частью нашего 4-дневного сафари-тура по Танзании. И это определенно была одна из лучших частей! Начав очень рано утром, мы получили незабываемые впечатления от гейм-драйва (поездки на джипе в поиске животных).
Заповедник Нгоронгоро защищает вулканически образовавшийся кратер, это самая большая в мире нетронутая кальдера и природный заповедник с живущими внутри животными. Он также примечателен впечатляющим живописным сочетанием зеленых равнин, усыпанного озерами дна кратера и внушительных стен кратера, окружающих Нгоронгоро со всех сторон.
В Нгоронгоро есть шанс увидеть всю большую пятерку Африки: льва, леопарда, слона, буйвола и носорога.
В 2021 году во время пандемии коронавируса путешествия осложнены некоторыми трудностями, но яркие эмоции того стоят.

Just returned from 4 weeks in Tanzania. Ngorogorow was my second favorite of the 9 parks I visited. I saw the northern and the southern parks.

What i Iike is that the the elephants 🐘 have there Tusks and Rhinos have their horns in this creator and almost on spoilt wilderness

My 22 years in various countries in Africa I never got the chance to go there and enjoy seeing the crater but when I head back with a new ankle that's what I'm doing first.

What were the best accommodations in the Park? How long do you recommend staying? Thanks for the video, great!
You cannot live in the crater, as this is a Conservation Area, so all lodges and hotels are located at the top of the crater slope.
It seems to me that good lodges are: Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge, Lions Paw Ngorongoro, Ngorongoro Oldeani Mountain Lodge. Depending on the budget, you can find cheaper accommodations, such as camps or basic lodges.
Actually, the area inside of the crater is not very huge, and you can drive all over the park in one day. If you start early at dawn the chance of seeing lions is much higher. And the park closes at 6 PM. More days you can spend in Serengeti.
But if you have more time for Ngorongoro, that would be great.
We had a rainy start the day I went. looks like you guys had more cars though

I can't say that Tanzania is better, because I haven't been to Kenya yet ☺
Serengeti National Park is shared for Kenya and Tanzania, so it should looks similar. But Tanzania has small parks with almost all animals from Africa's Big Five. Ngorongoro and Tarangire are very beautiful.

Masai Mara is located 314 km north of Ngorongoro, about 6 hours by car.

Je suis horrifié de voir autant de voiture envahissant la savane parfois des embouteillages se forme pour voir un lion !!!! Mais vous avez aucun respect pour la nature les animaux !!! Vous n'avez qu'un seul bute faire plaisir à votre petit esprit et faire de l'argent sur youtube au dépend des animaux !!!!! De plus vous détruisez les espaces verts que les mamifairs mangent !!!!
