There’s no way that woman couldn’t just open the door get out of her car. She also has a sunroof.
All these news stations are staging scenes for content. It's also dry as a bone right now, seeious deception is going on right now.
Electrical system was probably dead at that point...
Depends. If car out of gas, can't open sunroof if operating electrically and cannot manually open.
To open door without engine running, pull the handle (in my two years old car) twice.
1.5 ft of water needs to be rescued 😂
What would this society do and look like if there was a real emergency? Scary to think people are this helpless
I know 😅
In what world in the largest city in the country getting a flash flood of over 100mm of rain in a few hours, not a real emergency.
Almost 200,000 Toronto Hydro Customers have lost power.
The subway and underground path are flooded.
Peoples basements have several inches of water in them.
People are trapped in elevators.
There are no doubt countless electrical fires that have been caused.
Screw your head on straight. This is an emergency.
It's still nice to see people helping either way. I'm sure it was overwhelming for some 👍
@@michaelr3657 out of a city of 4 million people what 4 people got some help? Put things in to perspective! Also more people vote conservative in Toronto alone than whole provinces if that’s what’s bugging you all with the ‘Toronto Libruls’.
Lifejacket and a zipline in knee deep still water
Toronto Fire Services policy is no one goes in water without a lifejacket
Rescued in knee-deep water!!! Irony!!!
Staged news segment
They deleted my comment saying this video is staged 😂
The larger the city, the softer and more helpless the people are.
In my city, the fireman would have told her to get her ass out of the car because they have real emergencies to get to.
Yup, 100% snowflakes
Imagine having to be "rescued" from knee high water. I guess our bathtubs are extreme and scary.. sigh. This goes hand in hand with "extreme heat wave".......... of 30 degrees. lmao
probably something to do with car insurance
This is just stupidity
Was this a photo op or are those folks really that helpless?
Photo op for sure, this is staged. The city is also dry right now, they're misleading everybody
If its not snow its rain making Toronto look stupid.
Hey the water is starting to get rly deep lets keep driving
better than waiting in a 6 km traffic jam with nowhere to go
@@jazzhands9454No. It isn't. Besides, wait until the streets are clogged with workers changing every sign that dare say "Dundas"...
Imports can’t drive 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
what could go wrong?
@@jazzhands9454 yes flooding your car with water is better then not flooding your car.
You're local mechanics must love you.
Good to see capable rescuers, getting people from flooded car!
“Rescued” lmfao… yeah that looked really dangerous, wading through that calf-high barely moving water - was very important to have the firefighters there to hold your hand while you *walk yourself* out of the big puddle… thanks for the non-story G&M!
The water doesn't look deep until you step in a manhole that the cover has been displaced because of a surcharged sewer. You know, when you see water spraying up through those little holes on the lid? The next thing that happens is a moving manhole cover. You can't see this in that dirty water. Glub glub.
Rescued? More like people were escorted from the car because they are unable to walk through shallow water. Car rescues usually involve the car being underwater with rushing water…
Rescued!? How embarrassing. Society is in bad shape for sure
Torrential rain? You're joking right? The water was still, not even flowing, and barely knee deep. This is 'reporting' at its lowest form.
always the same area
this is giving massive "HELP, I'VE FALLEN AND CAN'T GET UP" vibes. jesus christ.
*Omg, what a waste of government services "rescuing" that lady. The water is barely up to the bottom of her door, and is LOWER than knee height!
She doesn't appear to be elderly or disabled either. She should have been forced to wait, like a triage situation.
This is like showing up to the emergency room with a scraped knee...AND she was literally the only one thick enough to even try that road...the driver's ed book needs desperate updating.
Even though it happened to a friend's mom years ago (with the famous pic of the Ferrari stuck in water) I still find it hilarious that people drive into enormous pools expecting to be fine 😂.
At least my buddy's dad had a pickup, and he went and just pushed their minivan out of the water (still had to wait until the next day before it would start).
Seeing Honda Civics stuck in water up to the windows just won't get old though.
how did these people not just walk the same route out of their car?????
This was one little spot in Toronto and you’re all hating on the city and its people lol. That’s what’s funny here. Get off TH-cam and go meet your fellow Canadians instead of raging on the internet.
Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future.., I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life!!
Good to see Justin’s carbon tax working to prevent climate change. 😂
Rescued ?
Reminds me of back home in India. 💩
Near my area, i had to go to a school with my mom so i can go to school. When we left the school, the water wasnt high enough since we were in Missisuaga. We experienced 2 cm flood that made our shoes wet.
People read my lips " Stop driving whenever there's extreme weather 😑
Rescued? Its not even knee deep 😂
Guess how that smells
Ganges
"Rescued" from 1' of water. 😂😅😂
How those ppl droves there in to the flood?
Why is there only one car? Oh, right, everyone else stopped driving when the water got too deep.
Wow the production …..
How many people got into accidents, got stuck, and had a horrible day because they were forced into the office when their job could have easily been done at home? This is why we need to fight against forced RTO
Why did she need a life jacket in such a small amount of water? 😂
So if our taxes aren't going to basic core services, like drainage and sewer, where are they going?
Society is pretty cucked nowadays huh...😑
When people decide to try driving in such conditions, the can be rescued from the car but not from their own folly.
There's deeper waters in the mall penny fountains 😂
Just proves Toronto is a swamp.
The horror. Ankle deep water and you need rescued by these resources. Can't wait untill the electricity goes off for a week. The nanny state and the people of toronto at their best.
It's called the snowflake generation
OK CALM DOWN BOOMERS

@@slimmoe offended already. 🤣
The amount of ignorance in these comments is astounding.
they could have just walked out of the car, this seems like nothing. unless u have a basement
And they put a life jacket on her!!
God bless those people who are given opportunities and took them, to be of help somehow, in some ways in certain situations, in front of them. To God be the glory. 🙏
One can never be sure when they will be in need of help. Better hope and pray, there will be some good hearted people around, willing to help without hesitations. 😇
God is good, always watching, he makes ways for us, if he wills. 🙏❤️
What a waste of tax dollars that knee deep water rescue was. This is where protocol has become a joke. Full bunker gear helmet and life jacket for a knee deep water rescue. We’ve become a complete joke as a society
Somehow the comments gonna blame Trudeau for this
well Justin said if we pay more money for everything that this wouldnt happen
We whant a refund 😅😅😅
No way it’s chow chow bow wow fault
We used to swim on that back home easy
oh come one what a waste of resources, they didn't need help let alone a rescue
No water got inside the car 😂
thank god they got out safely 😔
Seriously?
It’s not a River 📢
you can just walk out of there📢
Well
Man to everyone roasting this lady a few points to consider.
Ever waded through a current that was up to your knees? It is really hard. You cannot see what you're stepping on and it's very easy to loose your balance. A strong laminar current wont even look thay strong but once you're in it the force of it is amazing.
You can see the water moving around her car and the hwy is effectively acting like a river.
Even the Firefighters are concerned about it, you can see them all wearing tethers.
Have a little compassion for her. Imagine you were stuck in her spot.
You're seeing a whole team of psychiatrists, aren't you? Wake up, you might be peeing in your bed.
Nonsensical bs 😂
is anybody testing these waters for weather manipulation chemicals? anybody getting burns or rashes from being in the water? wth is going on?
One is the storm...!? The roads who makes them soooo many construction everywhere....??!! Waist of our taxes!! Lakeshore is mess were is water gone go ???
Its ok they have renamed a square
Kind of puts into perspective the softness of Canadians & its people (Ontario), and the fact that Toronto is a baby tucked away nested city, that among the entire globe & human habitation, it is situated away from earthquakes, volcanoes, tsunamis, hurricanes, typhoons, tornadoes, wildfires, landslides, avalanches, blizzards, sandstorms, severe droughts and severe flooding (not mild flooding).
So, geographically speaking Toronto is in a decent spot given the general lack of these natural phenomenon. It’s certainly a better location than Buffalo-on the downwind side of Erie and unprotected side of Ontario. I live near Toronto and you have listed the exact reasons that I do: no hurricanes, rare severe flooding, (rare and usually weak) tornadoes, wildfires, etc. All the things not covered by insurance.
@@pinlight97 Yes, one of the safest places in the world with rare to non-existent natural disasters.
this is a joke right
no, this is canada...
Rescued? From 10 inches of water?l guess you don t take baths...
Is this a joke?
Que pena!
Our insurance will go up
Bruh
People are pathetic.
Embarrassing
It’s the “Far Right’s” fault 😂
Blame Rob Ford and John Tory for neglecting our infrastructure in the name of Lowering Taxes
Please sar do not redeem sar
But no politicians have the guts to talk about deadly climate change killing us.
lol dafuq is this
Of course it's an immigrant.
Yaaa I know eh 😢😅
Why couldn’t they just open the door and walk out themselves ? They are lucky to live somewhere that somebody will feed them let alone rescue them , and these are the people who are procreating the most 😂
Stop geo engineering!
Why weren't taxes dollars used for better road infrastructure and flood issues. But here we are spending ridiculous amount on sign name changes, giving our moneybto Ukraine and painting rainbows on cross roads
Hows that drought going leftists?
? That's not what they claim lol
“Climate change” - Google it. Then take your rightist self and also look into what happens when too much housing that got back door approved by Ford for construction on protected moraine lands-ie at the headwaters of these rivers that keep flooding-prevents the moraine from filtering rainwater into the ground vs down the hill.
It’s actually not politics at all-it’s logic, but hey, why use that…right?
You get what you vote for😂
??????
We are living in Idiocracy.
