Man, it's so weird seeing these dudes older now. I was maybe 13? when the Album "The Reason" came out. I remember seeing first "Same Direction" on Fuse TV at like 2 in the morning. My older brother always listened to Hoobastank back when Crawling in the Dark was popular so naturally, I tagged a long to it. But the album The Reason was like my actual footing into Hoobastank. Fun, simple times. I miss it man, I miss these dudes. Getting old sucks, but I love revisiting this and STILL remembering when I first saw them on tv to actually seeing them in concert. Kudos to these guys man. Always were a hard working band, and in my opinion, criminally underrated. Love you guys, thank you for all the memories that will live on forever.

I do not think you will ever read my post but the song The Reason hits me hard. In 2006 I was on my way to basic training for the Army and on the long bus ride from the airport to the base with a bunch of scared soon to be new Privates questioning myself am I making the right move in my life, then the bus driver turns on the radio and The Reason was on and it put some encouragement in me to move forward. Fast forward to my first deployment and The Reason was a song I listened to daily to make it though. When I ask my wife to Marry me I had this song in the background. It seems from then to now, this song is always on or someone is singing it near me when I need it. Music can touch people in positive ways people just need to listen and feel. Thank you for unknowingly supporting me.

I have to say that this song has been playing in my head since I first saw the video ,when it came out. I stopped trying to figure out why I sing it practically every day of my life. Usually you have a cheesy song stuck in ur head for a day,but this song has made its home in me,and perhaps someday I will discover why.

Ive been a fan for more than a decade i listen to the reason at least twice a week its such a beautiful song gets me through the loss of my dad and best friend i miss him everyday thank you from the bottom of my heart guys .
I’ve been in love with this song for 15 years. But hearing it now, 31 years old with a special needs little girl and a baby on the way, it gives me so many feels. It brings me back to high school when life was so much simpler, but most importantly it conveys everything I want so much to say to my sweet girl. I carry this guilt everyday and I’m so sorry for the challenges she faces daily, but somehow she is everything I need and I’ll spend the rest of my life trying my best to be the momma she deserves.

Memory flash back! !!I the first time I've heard tis song i loved it. .. then some one gave it to me and then came the mix emotion, play it crazy feeling all love duffle. after a while .there came te the crying moments when I heard it...and then the moment that when i didn't played the cd any more so when i heard the first tones and i was able to shut it of because it made me angry. ..and the reason was the person how give me the cd that I hated this song ..but not for long! !!and i thank you guys for one of my big favourites !!and alwin for the CD ♡♡♡ from Holland. .cheers tazzie. ..
