New S5 handle very good but it's heavy. New RS5 will be also heavy but I bet it will handle even better. This and the performance version of the RS4 are the best! I also wasn't big fan of normal RS4 B9. I prefer RS4 B8 over Normal RS4 B9 but this RS4 B9 special Edition is amazing and I would take this over B8.
I own a RS4 competition (stage 2): sportcat downpipes, eventuri air intake. 550hp - 780nm and I can tell you it’s crazy fast. So this 470hp model should be comparable to “normal” RS6 C8 model in terms of speed. But the sound is crazy nice on the newer RS4 variants. I have no regrets at all of not buying a RS6 C8
Imho, the car is way to expensive given what it is... They put together all the parts, they have laying arround and sell it with a huge extra. The car would have needed 500+ HP to be a statement against competitors. Also the nice mechanical sound you are mentioning at 9:43 is just backpressure and by definition not good in a turbo car. Also I'm wondering if they will make it like in the RS3 limited edition, where all the "special" parts became choosable options in the configurator after the facelift. Or like the R8 super special RWD, which was also suuuuper limited until the next model came and RWD or AWD became just a 0€ option you could choose, which made the RWD just a car with a metal badge in the inside :)
Quite the opposite. New interiors are modern, high tech like competitors (finally) and practical. Who cares if theres cheap plastic in places where no one ever touches...
Normally do not like Audi interiors, still a bit allergic to the chubby auto gear knob/selector, and a bit to the mid screen popping up KIA style on the dash, but over all pretty good. I also don't like the modern Mercs and Beemers and the screen estate party going on forever across he dash, but we all different I suppose, so glad Audi did not go that route here.

I even enjoy driving my girlfriends Volvo more as a daily cause the 5 cylinder has a massive turbo lag and the gearbox is really sluggish to meet EU regulations. The V6 with the converter gearbox is the way better pairing in my opinion. BUT: if you’re looking for pure power, excitement and potential the Audi 5 pot is one of the best engines you can get out there. 600hp is reachable with less than 10k. And a tuned EA855 is a whole different animal than it is stock. It’s insanely fast even with a stage 1 ecu tune (500hp). 100-200 improves by around 3 sec and top speed to more than 300+. And the sound is biblical. It’s far superior to nearly every engine out there which has less than 8 cylinders in that category. If you want to do a performance build, the 5 cylinder is the logic choice.
The only potential advantage I see to the current demise of larger displacement engines is that we might see the 5 turbo being the pinnacle performance engine again. Or...alternatively ...they will disappear in favor of V6's or God forbid only inline 4's...
They should keep this in production as long as possible and unlimited. New gen will be similar disaster like new C63. I am just wondering, are these engines still so terribly unreliable as they were few years ago?
I really like this Channel but there is a lot of mistakes in that review. Just for the start Audis RS4 adaptive suspension is called DRC and not DDR and it is hydraulicly not electronically controlled. The next thing are brakes. RS3 never had a ceramic on a rear axel. Ceramic on the front and steel at the back. When it comes to 25th edition it is nothing more then competition plus with some editional tweeks like a changed chamber angele and some bushings at the rear subframe. That's it. The big downside as for the station wagon owner is the lack of roof rails. If you need a wagon chances are that you will want one of these as well 😅. And ther is nothing wrong with orginalt B9 RS4 as well. It just needs a aftermarket exhaust or a resonator delete and 80% of driving experience is already fixed.
So he was building this up to be something special it doesn’t have any kind of special suspension no special limited slip if anti-roll bars just to load a useless carbon on a car that weighs over two tons. What a load of rubbish.

Very surprised at this review. 80kg is 5% and I personally had no idea it was lighter, and it drove like it was a lot heavier and a lot slower everywhere than an M3. Sorry Audi fans, but it’s a nit good
In my humble opinion this car is simply old and outdated. The external display looks terrible, the rear brake disc are Audi-typical horrible. And the engine hasn‘t by far the potential of the S58: software and downpipe and you have around 700 hp with a performance on a top sportscar level.
Why on earth would you buy a car with milion horsepower where you will drive your kids to school , shopping and sometimes vacation. Speed limits in Europe variate, but even the Autobahn will get limitations. So, where exactly do you need all those horses , and where can you fully enjoy your car ? If not on a track, you are mron risking not only your, but others life.

Allthough the 4.2 V8 sounded way better.. I think that the V6 suits this car verry good 👌
The V8 was very nice but the original B5/8D RS4 was also biturbo V6, so this one’s more OG in that sense.
