I love the outcome of the image after photoshop ❤ and who wouldn’t love a breakdown of the editing 😅? I’m waiting gidigidi for it. Today you didn’t say “don’t ever give up” 😅
I just want to let you know your work is soooo amazing both as a photographer and an instructor. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Canon needs to make you one of its Explorers of Light or you should be endorsed by Sigma. Seriously. You are right up there with the best world renown photographers. I look forward to seeing you at big conferences. Continued success!!!!!
I love your photography… Can you please do a video for beginners trying to find their way with a flash. How to connect it with a their cameras and all of that
TBH I am not a technical person but, yes, your approach should work too because in HSS, there is some loss in power output. I usually lean towards how I feel and adjust my settings accordingly. Also, I feel there are many ways to create wonderful images with these tools, whatever makes you comfortable is fine. At the end, if you love the results then you're golden. It’s not that deep.. if you get what i mean.
I really love how you teach and the outcome of this photograph. From the begining of The video the Fill light is facing the wall, Is that how it was still positioned when you started taking Pictures?
Thanks a lot! I appreciate the feedback. And yes when I was shooting the fill light was still facing the wall. I intentionally did it that way so it spreads in the room
I have 2 questions, what is the flash power , and 2 if I’m in a studio with dark walls or no walls at all, could I put a white v flat outside the paper an bounce the fill light from that or would that not be a big enough source ?
I generally do not talk about the flash power because your situations will likely differ. So you’ll have to do your own tests till you find what’s suitable for that moment. If you have a V flat, yes you can bounce light into it. If you watch my other video I did compare a little bit, bouncing of walls and also bouncing into a V flat Here’s a link- th-cam.com/video/TC9G06Nao_w/w-d-xo.html
I like your lighting set up and the final image after photoshop. However, if it were me I would have had one more light--a hairlight. As it is her hair is not defined at all it's just one black blob. For me, a hairlight would have added some texture to her hair and dramatically improved the photograph. Not knocking you or your style of shooting, just saying what I would have done differently.

I’ll work on a dedicated post processing video soon!!

Great educational video. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Can't argue with the results, but wondering why you went with high speed sync instead of lowering the power from your flashes?

Thank you very much!!
Love this..Where can we find the painterly effects.
You didn't even introduce the model to us... very interesting pictures
Will do well to do that!!
I appreciate it too
Wow ... soooo nice to see 😃👍👍
Thanks a lot!! There’s more coming
Where are you located because i need to be there 🙏🏿💪🏿
Where can we find the painterly effects ?
god of lighting, please can you do a tutorial of how to save pictures on sd card and capture one while tethering?
It slows down the tethering process in my opinion.
But yes I’ll look into doing a video for that soon
I love the backdrop, can you leave a link on How to get it please thanks
It was hand painted for me by @pixeljunkies_ on Instagram
please can u mention (name of the painting) the background u use in photoshop (the painting) behind the model

If your room is dark tell us why you’ve gone into HSS?
My room isn't dark. I went into HSS to darken it.
@@Phloshop but surely you dint need to go above160th indoors, even at 1.4 @ iso 50?
