As cool as these are, I'm hoping they don't become speed run staples or atleast are in their own category. But I guess we will see, still not even a week old game.
This specific shot seems like it would only be useful in a potential 100% route. There are two pseudo wave shots early game that are already staples and as well as a pseudo wave later that skips drogya.
There probably will be a No Major Glitches category, since most games have one if a massively different route is possible thanks to glitches. What you'll have to worry about is whether such a category will be popular enough that people want to compete in it.
@@thorscape3879 I’m not sure that’s true, there are plenty of Diffusion blocks that can’t be hit with this technique and the only ones that’ve been found to be a useful skip in current Any% are the first block to skip the damaged EMMI and one later on that lets you skip Drogyga
Just tried that one. Indeed feels like the angle is super picky. Buffering didn't help much tho - probably because i'm not used to it. Anyways, thanks for sharing
@@PleasantLeech actually it could save a few seconds if you shinesink for early screw attack then take red teleporter to take the purple teleporter then head to the green teleporter then fight the boss that gives you the the cross bombs
this is the first time I actually feel involved in learning to speedrun a game. Thanks alot for the video
There are better videos lol

Pseudo Wavebeam is definitely going to be the most important exploit. Its uses are too ubiquitous.

I really hate how the game forces you to take the teleporter. maybe I'll actually use this SB
I shot one of these through a wall by accident. It confused the hell out of me. I wasn’t able to replicate it.
Somehow I'm seeing all the new stuff coming from you; are you sharing these on other platforms like reddit or anything?
I've been talking in the speedrun discord whenever I run out of my own ideas.
Would this Skip be helpful?
I don't think so, maybe if you're going for a specific type of run but I don't see how this would save any time.
