- Here is a video of one of our Club Member's SU-27. The Model has a wingspan of 2.20 meters and an overall length of 3.20 meters, weighs around 25.0 kilograms and is powered by two JetCat P220-RXi turbines.

A little bit of info on the full-size Sukhoi SU-27:
Also called (NATO designation) Flanker, Russian air-superiority fighter plane, introduced into the air forces of the Soviet Union beginning in 1985 and now one of the premier fighters of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Indonesia, India, China, and Vietnam. Versions of the plane are built under license in China and India.
Work on the Su-27 began at the Sukhoi design bureau in 1969 in direct response to the development of the F-15 Eagle fighter of the United States. While early prototypes were seen as inferior to the F-15, chief designer Mikhail Simonov gradually molded the Su-27 into what was arguably the finest air-superiority platform of the 20th century. Like its Cold War counterpart, the Su-27 developed into a large long-range interceptor, powered by twin turbofan engines and displaying a remarkable agility for its size. It is capable of flying at more than twice the speed of sound, has a service ceiling higher than 18,000 metres (59,000 feet), and has a flight range of more than 3,000 km (1,800 miles). Armament includes radar-guided or infrared-homing (“heat-seeking”) air-to-air missiles, unguided air-to-ground rockets, conventional bombs and cluster bombs, and a gun firing 30-mm exploding shells.

Is there Camera in the Jet?
Not on this particular flight, no. But it is, of course, possible.
Beautiful but I always wonder ... why not a camera in the cockpit? I don't think price was the problem.
and some of those new-fangled goggles that puts you in the cockpit.
i guess for RC modelers especially those who fly planes and helicopters, they probably prefer the view seen from the outside as opposed to first-person-view (FPV). i am one of them ; )
@@Katana50cc I prefer to fly the real thing, starch or rotary wing, and flying RC I try to recreate that and FPV seems like it would more closely match the reality. But I suppose if I did not have multiple cameras I would be at risk flying over the small pond next to my house and the dangers I face: alligators, otters, hawks, eagles and whatnot.

A model like the one in this video sits very high up there, in terms of what it takes in flying skill and knowledge of the hobby. It also represents a (very) substantial financial investment. The pilot and owner of the model in this video, has been practicing the sport for well over 20 years. But do not be discouraged! The journey there is where all the enjoyment lies! Start with learning to fly a basic trainer. There is a multitude of beginner aircraft to chose from. Find a flying club in your vicinity and get help and advice from the members there.
There are lots of Channels you can have a look at to inform yourself about how you can get into the hobby. Check out "RcSailors" , "Brian Phillips", and my personal favorite, "Petrincic RC" to get an idea of what beginner aircraft might be best for you.
This really is the most awesome hobby in the world, and I wish you all the best with getting started and eventually owning and flying a model as beautiful and advanced as the one shown here!

I was pilot ..and I tell you ..nothing is more exiting than this job..!! But my good God ,those land " pilots " need to pass maybe 1000 hrs to do better job ...they don't have a sense about to plane guidance ..wherever if you need be in Morfeo hands ..you will be delighted ..but no me ..good luck sleeping beauties ...zzzzzz!!
